Rumored version... But if it turns out anything like the far cry that appeared on the original X-box it'll be graphically cut down quiet heavily. I love the 360 but I don't think it can handle the full Crysis engine. I'd hate it to be a cut down version with extra long loading times, and a bad frame rate ECT... The unreal engine was used by EALA in Medal of Honour Airborne, so they have experienced it! You could very well be right thou Sonic.

The Scrin things and the GDI battle armors look really bad ass. Way better than the unit design from Tibwars, way better than I expected. It looks more like the unreal engine to I'd be surprised if it was the crysis engine thingy because it says for 360 and PS3 as well, and the unreal engine is more multi format friendly.

It says 360 version? Hope so because it would kill my PC. I hope it has split screen co-op modes, they are so fun on rainbow 6 and halo:D And how cool does the soldier design look, way more futuristic than Tibwars!

I was thinking more of a Red Alert 3 thing? Not re-making the originals into a FPS game. And, it's probably going to be a totally different kind of FPS game to Renegade! You can't say it'll ruin the work of the APB team when you have no idea how it will play! I mean just look at the countless numbers of WW2 games, that all exist together! Just because a game or mod follow a similar universe / story doesn't mean only one can survive!

renegade had a pretty good multyplayer mode... If it really is a cnc themed FPS, I hope they develop that rather than give us a standard death match or battlefield rip offs

It was not what I was expecting... But from most of the posts about the revolution I've read on EAs forum people would be just as hacked off whatever the announcement was. If it was the expansion... People would say OMFG it's too early, typical EA release an add-on before the game has it's bugged fixed. If it was the patch... Crappy doesn't fix anything or makes the balance worse.. Or if it was the SDK... OMFG boring or I don't even like mods. Either way EA lose... I read all the arguments and upset on why cnc3 sucks ass... But I cant help feel even if it was perfect certain members of our community would complain.

So anyway I finished the Nod campaign and I'm left terribly confused :-S I can't remember what Kane actually says to you, but it's something like 'I want to show you who is behind this.' Then of course he guides you and you see the bright light and it just ends? Correct me if I'm wrong on the details please, I was up until like 3am trying to finish it -I'm officially addicted- I just hope my Nod ending wasn't a caffeine induced lack of sleep hallucination. Only post your theories of what it could all mean, if you wanna say it sucks or slag the story line off or anything go somewhere else.

But in the past they have always carryed on the next game or expasion with the GDI endings; where Nod do lose or Kane is said to be killed :roll: Now we are going to have the story continued by both GDI and Nods endings endings From what I can tell, the storylines parallell, I'm playing 1 mission on each side at a time, like, GDI, Nod, Scrin, GDI, Nod, Scrin, to try and really wrap my mind around the game. I don't think it matters "whose" perspective the canon of the game revolves around, if there are differences, they are thus far very insignificant. They are in parallell but not at the same times. If you play the Nod missions Ajay will tell you that a lone GDI commander managed to take back the Easten United States. Which of course you do in the GDI missions.

I think it's good that there is no different GDI or Nod endings it's way better that they are all linked. Because Nod have actually got an ending without losing or Kane's death to carry on with XD

It took me lots of tries to get it right without turning down the difficulty. Basically GDI became the more powerful of the two so I took over their base and pumped out mammys' and fire hawks, and lay waste to the Scrin. It was straight forward because the Scrin were badly damaged destroyed by GDI, I even had to save their Conyard from a lone Juggernaut that managed to stay off my radar at one point. I love the Nod missions <3

Yes but It was way before the mass exodus of Westwood people; most probably including the -Westwood- writers. The point I'm trying to get at is that surely the production of RA2 was under a lot less EA influence than the production of TW, and RA2 had a much worst story line. It's just my opinion that there have been CNC games with worst story lines before Tiberian Wars, which I think has a good story*although the Nod ending left me a bit confused* but at least it keeps us guessing before the expansion pack, right?

I finished the Nod Campaign! I guess I have to finish the GDI before I can access the Scrin missions?
