Since I didn't find an official EA tech support forums I think this is the next best thing.
I'm doing the skirmish games to complete the medal thingies, and sometimes the game just shuts down and get the following error:

This is 3 AI vs me on a 4 player map, this usually happens after a lot of lagging. Thing is I played several 3 AI vs 1 games on a multiplayer game no problem so I find this strange why in skirmish it does this, it's not like there's alot of action/buildings/vehicles on it.
The reasons it gives me leave me clueless aswell:
-Virus: My pc is virus/spyware free as I regularely scan
-Overheated hardware: the side panel of my pc is off and there's a big fan next to it + it's not even 20° here.
-Hardware not good enough: these are my specs:
-AMD Athlon XP 1600 1.4ghz
-NVidia gf3ti200 64mb
-512 DDR ram
-Windows XP home (sp2)
-Mobo Asus A7V333
-Latest DirectX (9 isn't it?)
If anyone can shed some light on this I'd be thankful.
