Because these people actually play the game! Unlike many of these C&C fansites where the people simply play the single player campaign and a few games of skirmish... and maybe just maybe a game or two online. If you had actually played online Sonic you would realise that a HOTFIX for the desyncs was needed less then a week after the game was released, but no it has been plagued online games for the past 3 or so months now. Then a patch to fix the major imbalances (mechapedes / purifiers) within 2 weeks. Then take time to patch the rest that was needed. It's always the idiot single player newbs that defend EA, sigh

but you are making up theories on the basis of something happening in Tiberian Sun that didn't actually happen...

you really need to play through tiberian sun again, or at the very least look at the videos for each mission on you tube, rather then posting your interpretation of someone you yourself admit to barely being able to remember.

If you remember back to Tiberian Sun. Kane had doctored all of his speeches so it appeared that he didn't have any metal plate on his face. When you actually see him with the plate and considerable scarring to his face on TS it's when he is by himself without anyone else around. In TS he was hiding that he had actually been seriously injured!!! And now in KW he just freely seen with plate (and no scarring???) in front of everyone? uhh god damn EA are retarded.

I much preferred playing Nod back in my online TS/FS days... whether because it was because I've always had a tendency to pick the "evil" team on C&C games or just the fact that 99% of the online community played GDI and it was just great fun using strategies that were rarely ever used. It was always hilarious when your average -> half decent player came up against you with their typical GDI build and just had no idea wtf to do because there were just so few decent Nod players to actually practice against

When myself and my friend lurker were playing 1v1 Terrace. I got Top right he had bottom left and well I had like 30+ banshees and was completely destroying everything of his till he only had ref's and a hand of nod left and I didn't realise that he still had a sub apc so he put a cyborg command and engies in it and completely wiped out my base except for a few of my pads... and there was just no way my banshees could reload fast enough to finish of his last buildings so the rest of my base was destroyed by light infantry Probably one of the craziest come backs ever, and he still gives me **** about it to this day

No I think you will find that due to both the Tiberian Sun and Firestorm servers being combined on XWIS there is no possible way of telling who is running FS or TS and well they are different versions. So it could well be and more then likely that it's a simple case of a person running FS trying to join a TS game or vice versa. I thoroughly enjoy laughing at your ignorance =)

Just to expand on my earlier post, how many TS/FS monthly player and clan tournaments did you win? To be perfectly honest, your post actually makes me wonder if you have ever played Tiberian Sun :S

Just because I haven't posted here doesn't mean I'm new, have a look at my member number and register date I prefer the technical support area of forums and I saw a few topics with peoples laptops specs, and considering I just picked up a new one recently I couldn't think of a better way of actually coming out of long term forum lurking than making my own topic =) You build your own desktops? thats extremely nice to know, but what happens when you head out of town for a week or so, or it's a nice day and you would prefer to be sitting outside rather then stuck in a room? You just can't beat the portability of a notebook... hell I don't even really use my desktop thats much anymore, it's mainly used for file storage now. When I'm actually at home I have my notebook hooked up to my 22" ASUS Monitor, wireless keyboard / mouse and sound system... so it's perfect for a desktop replacement too! You would rather mod a car? Every cent you spend on modifying a car is just the same as burning that money, because you will never see it ever again. Also at the end of the day "pimping" out a car is only going to impress stupid teenagers, no body actually gives a crap about done up cars after there teens (early 20's at latest) so all you are going to impress is some stupid 16 year old girls? yay? you win.. Oh wow your new jeep is barely worth more then my notebook? congrats, multiply your jeeps price by about I dunno 6.5 times and thats how much I spent to purchase my car. Now think to yourself seriously, I wasn't just given money, so I must know how to manage my money? So why talk about me wasting my money when obviously I know how to manage my money insanely better then you. I have read this forums for quite some time and realised long ago you are the type of person who generally post's idiotic statements in an some kind of attempt to start an argument / flame war. So for a second lets just assume you have a considerable amount of money, how would you spend it differently? Oh please tell me? =) Why was my purchase such a waste of money? I would love to hear some logical reasoning behind hit, rather then some retarded statement that you just posted. This basically means you have a different version to the persons game you are trying to join. This can happen from having a mod installed, or even a few files left over from a mod you have removed, although you have stated you don't have any mods. So i'm going to assume you have selected the FireStorm option from the main startup screen and the other person has selected Tiberian Sun or vice versa, this will also result in the version incompatible error. The brains behind XWIS decided that both FireStorm and TS will use the same lobbies, making it impossible to tell who is using TS or FS... The majority of people will be using TS online however so it's best to just load up TS... the days of FS online died many years ago.
