GDI has better attack stuff. Nod is cooler and has better defence stuff. Positive NOD things: - good defenses: obelisk and laser - all superweapons - cyborg commando - banshee (although orca bomber is better) - artillery (better than juggernaut at first, but made weaker in FS skirmish) - APC is subterrain - Devil's Tongue is cheap and subterrain - cyborg reaper - rocket infantry Negative NOD things: - cyborg: cool but too expensive - tick tank - weak - apache - of no real use - chem missile requires tiberium veins harvesting and is in fact weaker than the multimissile - NOD sam requires more power than GDI component tower + sam upgrade - obelisk of darkness unbuildable - no laser infantry like in Renegade Positive GDI things: - Ion Cannon (weaker than the multimissile but unblockable) - Firestorm Defence - Ghost Stalker - Drop pods are so good when targeted right - Titan: can shoot over walls, shoots directly (no annoying projectiles like tick tank) - MK II - disruptor - APC has more armour - Orca Bomber - at times the juggernaut is better (especially when taking out large stuctures, since it's less accurate than the artillery) ans faster than its counterpart Negative GDI things: - Umagon - Jumpjet Infantry - Crappy defenses and too expensive (RPG too expensive, Vulcan more expensive than laser) - upgrades are annoying - wolverine too expensive - grenade soldiers exploding - no personal ion cannon infantry (or something) as in Renegade

Do you think that C&C RA1s AI totally beats the new gene
Inferno replied to Azrael's topic in Red Alert / Counterstrike / Aftermath
Every c&c AI cheated in buildspeed as far as I know. Also keep in mind that AI's build their buildings instantly, they don't have to place it. And what has been really weak of the AI, if you destroyed their building, place a tank on a spot where the building used to be, he won't build the building again. -
In single player, yes. In multiplayer, no. You can only pick up spawn wepaons. Really cool when you're the stealth black hand and you pick up a sniper rifle 8)
-
Yup the pistol kills soldiers with a single headshot. And you can really create a line of dead NOD soldiers with a chaingun. The laser chaingun is by far the best weapon.
-
Japs don't like western people either.
-
No masterminds mostly take a few GI shots, but then they mindcontrol all GIs causing them to overload. But I never take a mastermind alone, I use a Yuri-clone or so to kill the infantry. Virus may work as well.

Cluster missiles are always cool 8) -
Nod will never ally with GDI, they will only force them to work with them, like the Soviets forced the Allies in YR. Cygnus' storyline really makes sense. But it would be a huge mass of armies divided and stuff. Perhaps Tratos can make his return in TT, as leader of the Forgotten. It would be cool if dr. Petrova or Raveshaw (Renegade) showed up as well.
-
Or just Allies vs Soviets vs GDI vs Nod. Really cool to throw the Forgotten in too.

Favourite Low Tech Vehicles
Inferno replied to BigPoppaBear's topic in Command & Conquer / Covert Operations
Accuracy in TS, true. But it sucks in FS skirmish/multiplayer. I'd say I like the Titan best. Since it's not there, I'll vote for the TS artillery. -
same here. the railgun sure is cool. I always pick the mutation suit of Raveshaw to look really cool on multiplayer 8) .
-
Same here. Although I never managed to actually shoot it down. And when I did try it, a second after it was out of sight, a Nod soldier showed up right in front of me. Annoying. The Raveshaw boss was really cool. I used the personal Ion Cannon to hurt him real bad 8). However, the Sniper Rifle didn't seem to have much effect on him.

Indeed, but the explosions look cool though! -
Finally got the Generals Deluxe Edition!
Inferno replied to Yuri_Copy's topic in Generals / Zero Hour
Nope, Aurora seems the best to me. With countermeasures of course. Don't forget the Helix and the Commanche though. Helicopters rule in Generals. -
Especially the mission where you get to land on the beach, where Sakura's copter is firing.
-
Yes, Raveshaw with his railgun is the best. Better than Sydney's Personal Ion Cannon. I dunno, they are the same, but I'm always better witn the railgun

Question regarding various (?) C&C game timelines.
Inferno replied to Worker's topic in Command & Conquer / Covert Operations
yupz but now EA is gonna make another one... hope they don't screw it up even more.. -
Finally got the Generals Deluxe Edition!
Inferno replied to Yuri_Copy's topic in Generals / Zero Hour
You can do that? Cool! I normally build a lot of 'em with Juhziz, the demo-general. They get a terrorist on it 4 free! -
Not if the soviet influence in the RA-series stretches further and further.
-
Yes they seem to like it to make modding harder and harder every c&c game.

Help, red alert mod
Inferno replied to GrovSnus's topic in Red Alert 2 / Yuri's Revenge Maps & Modding
rulesmd.ini is yuri's revenge only... if you search for CAR or LIMO or something like that you should be able to find something -
Best CnC Team of all time
Inferno replied to kidvini's topic in Command & Conquer / Covert Operations
NOD owns with their obelisk... too bad you can't play the CABAL campaign in FS.... -
Then again, the Banshee DOES use alien technology!
-
If they make TT, that is.
-
Yes Templar may be good but they cost about as much as a black hand, and ANY black hand can take ANY mutation out with ease. EVEN in tiberium fields, since they lack armor and heal slowly.
