Loving the sound of this already. Units sound original, wacky and fun. Like the sound of the CGI and outdoor movies, one thing CNC3 lacked sadly. Regardless of this I know not to get my hopes up too high.

Has Mr. Sonic been a bad man and posted pics he shouldn't have?! On a side note: Bring Back Ray Wise!!!! He's brilliant in Reaper an was great as the President.

It will be interesting to see which direction they take the RA series. Do they carry along the fast and frantic and humerous stylings of the RA2/YR story arc, or do they go back to the beginning and create another take on a sequel to the original RA. RA2 will be hard to beat IMO as it was just so much god dam fun. Everything from the graphics to the voices/sayings to the actual unit designs themselves was great. I think the best thing about it was that the seriousness of it had been taken away. It's the complete opposite to the Tiberium story arc. Everything had to make sense in that, things had to have a plausable reason for being (pitbulls had to have a cab to keep the peeps safe from the tib etc etc). In RA2 things didnt have to make sense, and thats what made them fun. They were wacky, zaney, sometimes stupid (dolphins and squid), but they worked, and worked well. Personally, I would like to see it follow the RA2 story and feel of things. But I will not be dissappointed if it sticks to the RA side as that too was great, and if it connects the dots to the Tib side of things then thats a bonus. My two cents though.

Anyone else notice that it says 'Win!...A Spot on The Red Alert 3 Beta'?? Must be some way into development if they're offering beta spots. Loving the concept arts of the PC Gamer and PC Guru mags too.

I went to go watch this movie last week. I enjoyed the story, the actors were good, the online viral campaign giving clues away was exceptional. Only thing I didn't like was the camera techniques. I don't get motion/travel sickness and I have no problem with fast moving images, but this film did make me feel sick whislt watching it. Other than that, it was a great film.

I am beginning to get the impression that we will never see an end to the Tiberium series of games and that the story will get ever progressively worse and possibly end up like watching a Jason or Freddy film. And for game names for the 'Tiberium' series: Tiberium: Vega's *insert any generic/boring word you want* eg: Tiberium: Vega's Victory/Crusade/War/Rampage/Doctrine/generic/boring/dreary/mind-numbing.

I am perplexed as to why it doesnt have a C&C title. Even Generals managed to get C&C wedged infront of it. Problem is though (not so much a problem really, just a 'thing') is that if were to be called C&C:Tiberium seems to much like C&C:Tiberium Wars, which was a crap title imo anyway.

Detail on the wolverine looks a little sparse. Also, have the guns changed on it too, weren't they supposed to be mini-guns?

Kane does appear to kill alot of women commanders....... Repeating theme of Kane/NOD being betrayed is beginning to get a bit tiresome tbh though.

Isn't the female a Zone Trooper? it was said that they would be females. And isn't the experimental technology referring to the ZOCOM sub-faction, not the Steel Talons?

The Kane's Edition copies are pretty much the only ones you can buy round me and they only cost £19.99, wont find it any cheaper really until it moves into the £5 bargain bin. *The unit skins aren't great either.

Any chance it might be the cast details for the expansion?

I think you'll find we already know we are crap at football, just lucky enough to make it to the quarter-finals every tournament. I wouldnt say we are the best at rugby, we just have a knack for winning. It's nice to see the aussies out though, and the french, and the new zealanders, and the welsh, and the scottish. Hmmm, it's good being better than you lot.

I've watched near enough everygame of the RWc this time around and I have tosay it's been very good. Alot of the underdogs have played quite well against some of the bigger teams. Australia have once again proved that they can't handle the pressure of a big game and New Zealand, well, you all saw the first and second half results. They couldn't keep ahold of an egg if it was glued to their hands. My money is on France to win it.

Is anyone actually hyped up about the Battlecast viewer? (This is not an indication that I am, i am just gauging public reaction).

mine wont even load, it keeps getting to about 90% loaded then just freezes. I've tried re-installing it and re-downloading it, but in the end I just gave up.

This guy lived in the same town i live in, and to be honest, his face does kinda look familiar, so chances are I'd seen him walking about a few times. I too have known someone who took his own life, and it's one of the most difficult things to undderstand, trying to figure out what was goin through there head.

And where would one find this report on CABAL. I don't remember seeing that one in the demo, I saw the others but not that one.
