    Shogun Battle Ship

    As i see it, of the bombard ships (Aircraft carrier, Shogun Battleship, Dreadnaught) he AC is the worst. Due to the fact that its drones can be shot down by interceptor aircraft, its blackout missile is ok, but does last long enough, or have the AoE to make that much diffrence. The DN is ok, but its a little bland, rapid fire missiles is good but the rate that it takes damage is horrible. And the Shogun.....urm its hasnt got AA, and its a bit costly...but it can ram other ships, speeding it self up. Point it at the enemy base so its forward guns can obliterate it, while the rear defends it, a few sea wings and you get a easy win. Overall: AC: +Blackout missile, -Drones can be shot down, -Black missile is useless against a base with air units guarding it. =Not worth the cash, use Vindcators or Athena Cannons. DN: +Missles can't be stopped, +Can rapid fire. -Takes damage from rapid fire. =Good for pure sea battles, but gets sidelined by Hammer tanks, Apocalypse tanks and V4's in a ground war SB: +Two turrets means two targets, +Can instant kill other naval units with its ram, +Powerful and accurate weapon +Can be buffed by protocals. -A tiny bit more costy. Shogun Battle ships just say: Ah funk, there goes my everything..... On a side note: a SB shooting down a aircraft is possible, when its taking off or landing. I've seen ground units shot up aircraft as they take off, then stop when it moves. Due to it being a ground target while landed, and this not changing until to starts moving around the sky.

    I find that when i get beat at a mission, i just leave it a day, then come back and get a easy win, but never knowing why.......

    RA3 Patch 1.07 Balance Change Proposal

    About time air force where nerfed a little. Why i say this is at the moment it takes 4 defender turrets in Air Destoyer mode to kill ONE Vind just before it gets out of range (turrets in a line 3/4 cell apart, Vind flies across middle). Most aircraft move in so quickly they almost always make there attacks before they die to ground-based AA. The only way to stop them is to create a excessive amount of AA, both air and ground. As for the Conscript buff? a bit OTT but welcome, due to Allied PK have multi target hitting guns, and EotRS have overall powerful troopers, it helps the reds deal with early infantry argo and engineer rushes. As for muiligunner turrets, adding a PK makes them very powerful Vs grouped infantry, and they deal more damage the closer the enermy gets. Lasty I would like to see a optoin to disable Super Weapons AND support powers, as it really pissies me off when a large force is crippled due to 1 unstopable attack. TW and Generals had this problem as a player could turtle, then pound his/her/its oppents with ease just but clicking a few powers and a SW or 2. I.E. Allied combo: dump a lvl2 or 3 cryo shot, then use a time bomb and presision stike the bomb to blow it, and ta-da you just cause a shed load of damage with minamal effort.

    Ah........heh...........still prefered the old way.........you'd think they'd tell us or somthing.......

One thing is always a problem when moving mixed combat groups, the faster, lighter support (i.e. anit air/infantry) streaks ahead of the tanks and artillery, and gets creamed by the enermy armour, while leaving said tanks and artillery at the mercy of air and troops. The same story happens at sea, as faster AA and AS ships leaves the the battleships undefended. Its all well and good being able to set a army up in a battle line at the destination, but why not let this line be able to move in this formation at one speed? Red Alert 1 has it, hell! even GENERALS has it, so why not RA3 and C&C3TW/KW?

    can any one tell me how to get the dropship and ocra transport to work? when ever i try to get them to work all they do is take off and buzz around the sky for the rest of the game :?
