Sonic

Just visit our Support Files section for the latest drivers page, http://www.cncnz.com/files/support/drivers.shtml I'm not sure how it works for ATI card (I have an NVIDIA card), but you should be able to access the settings for your card by going to Control Panel and clickng on Display, then the Settings tab. Once in there click the Advanced button and their be an ATI tab in this window.

The RA 3.03 patch was an untested beta release to be used at your risk. Its problably the cause of problems. Uninstall Red Alert, make sure all the files from your WestwoodRedAlert folder are deleted. Then reinstall the game and patch it using the 1.08PE update.

I don't mind what name people use for me, so feel free to use my real name, Chris Seager.

This news should piss Microsoft and Bungie off. Halo 2 has been leaked. Full story: http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=56943

Do you have the latest drivers for your hardware?

You weren't overclocking your hardware were you? Generals/Zero Hour has been known to cause problems on overclocked hardware.

Strange, its always worked for me, but I don't use it all the time. Like Fenring said, it could be something to with the way cookies are stored on your computer. Do you have any problems staying logged in?

I like Stargate SG1 as well. And the Simpsons as well as That 70's Show.

Finally!..... Half-Life 2 has gone Gold. It will be released November 16th. Press Release: I'm on my way to pre-order it. Since its coming out November 16th I think I'll hold off buying Halo 2 for XBox for now. Halo 2 is cool but I'd rather play Half-Life 2 8)

The small patch that you can download from http://www.cncnz.com/features/tech/raxpfix.shtml disables LAN play. I'm not sure but have a read through Planet CNC's guide about running the older C&C games on WinXP, http://www.planetcnc.com/features/techtroopers/classicsInXP/

You usually have to give things like this 24 hours. If after the 24 hours you still can't connect then you start looking at other options.

I never see the XP login screen. If your the sole user of your PC whats the point in logging in everytime. Just set Windows to boot straight into your user account

It wasn't anything really bad. Just some usless spam and junk that was cleaned up by C&C King.

Shame on you. At least you didn't butcher one of Metallica's all time classics like Master of Puppets..... or have I just given fresh ideas. That song never made is the Result May Vary album did it? I have an mp3 of Limp Bizkit performing Crack Addict live at WrestleMania 19.

Please read our forums rules: http://forums.cncnz.com/viewtopic.php?t=4 ** Topic Locked **

I don't want to add mods these forums, its pain when upgrading to newer versions. As Fenring said, phpBB 2.2 (whenever it gets released) should have that feature. It wasn't that bad. 2 rubbish posts and thats all.

My desktop hasn't changed much since the last time we had one of these topics, I don't like changing it that much, I stick to what I'm used to. If anyone posts a pic of their desktop could they not post the large image, make smaller version linked to the larger version or just post the link. Hey Fenring, I see you use SmartFTP, I use it to. Have you had any problems with it freezing when you attempt to connect to a server?

I hate cellphones, I retired mine a long time ago. I got sick of taking with me, answering pointless text messages from friends when they found out the number

Silly game baseball. They play to many regular season games, something like 162 I think. The players are over paid, steroid taking cry babies. And it seems people only get interested in it when its the Yankees VS Red Sox. MLB probably rigged it this year so that it ended up like this for TV ratings, high TV ratings means more money. It was Yankees VS Red Sox in last seasons playoff as well with the Yankees moving on. As for American sports, they all have their problems. MLB: See above NBA: Lack of big stars, criminal problems (Kobe Bryant), overpaid players NFL: Don't know whats happening, lost interest in it NHL: Labor dispute, players locked out, season cancelled

Saying we have an anit-spam policy isn't going to stop these bot things from posting crap. We are just as tough on regular users posting spam and flaming though. A few months ago these forums were hit by a real nasty one, it registered about 180+ accounts in the space of 5 minutes, thankfully no posts were made, if they were the clean process would have taken ages. To delete all the accounts I had to manually edit the MySQL database.

We have mirrored the Call to Arms Beta mod here at CNCNZ.com. If your intrested in downloading it you may do so from this link http://www.cncnz.com/files/generals/mods.shtml#cta Remember, CTA is for Generals only, it does not work with Zero Hour.

Phreakly has the final say on this but if anyone wants to help update our BFME site just ask and Phreakly ge will give you news posting access etc....

Good job with the clean up. I've deleted the offending posts in the TIbEd forums. Fenring sent me a PM alerting me to this. I have deleted the rubbish accounts and banned the IP addresses.

You just have to decide which game you want the most. For me its Half-Life 2, I've been waiting since it was meant to be released back September 2003.

Its always good to see news like this..... Lets hope we get the same news for Half-Life 2 soon.
