It all depends on your language or acent I guess. Here in New Zealand we say the letter "Z" as ZED, Americans say it as ZEE.

Well you could read the history page located here: http://www.cncnz.com/site/history.shtml The problem that page is so far out date, I haven't update it for a very long time. If I find the time I'll get it fixed up this week because a lot change lately. Anyway here is a short summary..... CNCNZ.com began as a Tiberian Sun site called the Tiberian Sun Zone in late 1997, by mid 1998 I changed it into TiberianSun.Net.NZ, or TSNNZ for short. After the release of TS I started to plan out what I then called Command & Conquer NZ. For a short time I toyed with the name CNC.Net.NZ since the domain at the time was www.cnc.net.nz, as time went by the name became CNCNZ because thats how everyone mentioned it on their sites. Once we purchased the www.cncnz.com domain in the middle of 2000 I changed the name again by adding the .com part a few months later, the site officially became CNCNZ.com. For our USA friends this is how you correctly pronounce the name C - N - C - N - ZED dot COM

Screw Yuri's Revenge, thats so far from the C&C storyline. It has nothing to with it all. There is nothing to continue. I like how you included Generals/Zero Hour in your poll  Seriously though it would be a stupid move for EA to base another C&C game on Generals/Zero Hour. C&C 3 should be the continuation of the original C&C and Tiberian Sun storyline. BTW, this Tiberian Twilight name that everyone keeps mentioning is not official. Sure Westwood mentioned it a few times over the past years and they registered some domains with that name. But we don't know if C&C 3 will be Tiberian Twilight. We should just call it C&C 3 until we find out more.

I've used every version of Norton AV since 2001. Currently using Norton AV 2004. I've had no problems using the program, it intercepts any nasties that get through. I've never actually had an infection to clean out of my system. And since I use MailWasher to check my e-mail before it downloads into my inbox none of the attached viruses even get to my computer. I just delete them right off the mail server Antivirus software is only good if you keep updated. There are lots of poeple who either don't have any or if they do they don't update it. Like Fenring, I also recommend Norton to other people. I also tell them this..... Use Norton AV, full system scan weekly - Keep it updated Use ZoneAlam (free version) - Keep it updated Use Spybot, scan weekly - Keep it updated Use Adaware, scan weekly - Keep it updated Thats what I have on my system, my system is clean.

The Forum Index part of that line is coded into the phpBB files somewhere. Since the name of these forums is CNCNZ.com Network Forums it does look a little on the odd side. If I search through the files I could probably edit it so doesn't look so strange. But its only a minor thing.

As you may have seen in the news updates on the main page of CNCNZ.com two of the larger Renegade mods, Renegade Alert and C&C Commando, have announced plans to change to the Half-Life 2 Source engine. Do you think this a good or bad thing. Should theses mods continue using Renegade or move on to much improved Half-Life 2 Source engine?

We have been back online for about a month now EA hasn't ripped off Westwood's idea. EA own C&C and any future names that Westwood came up with. I for one would like to see the series continue, don't you? Westwood been gone for a long time now.... let it go

The World Rebellion logo you had was better.

Half-Life 2 System Requirements & Release News

That means I should be ok with the upgrades I made a few weeks ago - Athlon XP 2700 (2.2 ghz) - 512 DDR 400 - Geforce 4 Ti4200 (reused part) On the other hand there is going more happening and there will be bigger maps in Half-Life 2 compared to CS Source. -
For those following Half-Life 2....

Yeah Kill Bill 1 was ok with its fighting. Kill Bill Vol 1 and Vol 2 are really just one big long movie anyway.

When you switched to your new motherboard was Windows (apps/games) already installed or did rebuild your system then re-install Windows. If it was the second option I'd re-install Generals and Zero Hour. You could also try updating Direct X. Download and install the latest VIA Chipset drivers if you haven't done so.

I got the Butterfly Effect on DVD last week. Great movie, great story, very original. Unexpect ending..... I won't describe it though in case your planning on watching it  I also watched Kill Bill Vol 2, very boring :tired:

AVP is an FPS not an RTS.

Just a heads up guys.... Loose the LOADING...... page thing from the ABUMM site. It serves no real purpose and its really annoying when you click the home link to return to the main page.
-
Makes no difference to me anyway. I've the option to let IE play background music. I can just goto http://abumm.cncnz.com/index2.php to skip it

Thats a good idea, but I don't think I could up with enough.

Yeah post them. Thanks

I would try a re-install of Direct X 9.0. Either re-install Direct X 9.0b or update to 9.0c. You could just go ahead and install SP2. Installing SP2 updates Direct X to 9.0c.

Well if anyone wants to do a bit searching it would help speed up the process. I've had this site in my favorites for awhile: http://www.clancyfaq.com/milranks.htm

Everyone's post count went down when we re-stored our forums from a month old backup. -
Well you can register the domain for free and keep it for one year. To renew it you have to pay.
