Please post your system specs, this will give us something more to work with.

I don't care how popular Renegade is or was, I just wish I could play it online again. Damn thing simply doesn't connect to WOL anymore :cry:

Some people say thats because of EA's cheap manufacturing. They use crap plastic or something.

From memory I think you can create battle clans for RA2 from inside the game when you sign up for WOL. But with the way WOL works these days it probably won't work anymore. Hi Worker, You liked that old blue scheme, so I did, but after working on the site everyday it starts to get boring. I needed to change the layout. When you think it about it they layout hasn't changed that much. Other reasons for the new look is because the old blue layout never showed all the C&C games. It was Generals in the top logo and Renegade in the left nav bar background. The new layout uses random logos (top left) refresh or visit another page in the site and you get a different logo complete with a known C&C qoute. And most importantly it displays all the C&C games in way or another. Is this the logo your talking about?

Do you have problems with the maps that come with the game, EG the official maps? Try playing a game on those maps and see if the game crashes.

I've never heard of that happening before. You might have to reinstall the game, play throught the single player mission without patching it. The Renegade patches only fix multiplayer issues anyway.

You could probably just buy two cheap NIC PCI cards and a cable to link the computers that way for quick network. You could also explorer wireless networking options. I'm not really clued up on the best ways for networking though. Forget installing Windows XP on that low spec computer, it would be painfully slow. Stick with Windows 98.

I need some ideas for new a slogan that appears top right of the page below the large CNCNZ.com Network Forums text. It currently says "Time to Play the Game!", thats from the old layout/colours. I want something new but I don't know what. The new slogan on the main is CNCNZ.com | The C&C Community Veteran, something along those lines (but not the same) would be cool. We are a creative bunch so use your imaginations

I can't remember any names or links to them though. Searching on Google might be a good idea.

The new layout is now up and running. I'll be checking around the site fixing bugs and changing things so if you find anything wrong post it here. Also post you feedback about the new layout.

I'm not a fan of rap music either. The sad thing its used in one of my favourite games, NBA Live 2004, thankfully it can be turned off :wink:
