I'm not using DSL, just dail up. No, I've never used that at all. I've also installed Renegade on another computer and tried getting online and I got the same problem so that would have to rule out the idea of it being my own computer. It has to be some screwed up bug with WOL. Do I dare (or even bother) e-mailing EA Tech Support?

Yeah it still doesn't work, 2 weeks and counting now. :cry: I posted my problem at http://www.renegadeforums.com but I didn't get much help I did do a search of those forums and found that this problem has affected other people but I found nothing to help me fix it. It seems to be strange bug that effects WOL. What I find hard to understand is the fact that WOL/Renegade Online has worked problem free for me since I started playing Renegade online back in April 2002 and now its decided to crap out on me

Its news to me, it was e-mailed to me 5 times in the same day by GameSpy themeselves, each e-mail was an hour apart. You would have got it to if you had a GameSpy ID.

Have you tried looking at RA Den? http://www.cncgames.com/ Lion has a huge collection of RA2 maps there.

Another example of how the video card is flooded with to many cards these days, this is what makes it hard for people when the time comes to purchase the best card to meet their needs. BTW, Thierry your avatar is the scariest looking cat I've ever seen, unless you count that fat cat picture posted by Lion on the main page of CNC Den :lol:

Some mods and other things that modifiy the game can also cause the mismatch/syncro errors I think.

I could be wrong about this but to control the sub I think is just the same controls as if you were using the Orca or Apache in Renegade.

What is funneling type architecture

They are adding subs and other naval units so anything is possible I guess.
