Damn!!! Thats horrible service :omg: Did you complain? I would have. The place where I order my games from here in NZ gives me great service. Last Wednesday morning about 11 AM I ordered NHL 2004, and then payed for it via Internet banking by 11.15 AM. By 6 PM that night I got the e-mail saying that my order had been shipped. The game arrived at my house the next day around 3 PM.....now thats service!

I'm pleased with how well Zero Hour runs compared to Generals. I could run Generals fine but I would get few slow downs and frame rate drops from time to time. With Zero Hour I don't get any, runs like a dream. Its as if they have optimised the game better or something.

The controls are different but that just being picky I guess. Seriously....it must damn hard to control an RTS game using a control pad on a console.

If a forum admin or moderator decides that a topic in any other forum (EG the General Discussion or the C&C Generals & Zero Hour forums) has turned into a flame war or its total garbage he can choose to move the topic to the Flamers Zone forum or Recycle Bin forum. I decided it was a good idea to restrict members from starting new topic in the Flamers Zone/Recycle Bin forums because the could be used as an area to keep posting rubbish. I think I'll add this the network forum rules.

Its extremely effective...trust me. Personally for me its an essential Windows application. I never check my e-mail with out it.

As you can see the forums are back, the stink thing is we have to start again. So if you were registered here before please re-register and help us re-build our forums. We are sorry for the down time we had earlier this week, we are also sorry we lost our forums data. We now the have the means to back up our forum's database so if problems occur in the future we can restore them easier. The reason for the old database not being restored was because it was corrupted badly. Our server admin team tried their best to recover it. So the total data loss for the major server problem was the forums database and about 2 months worth of news updates from the main page. Everything for the forums has been set up again, the colour scheme, the user ranks etc... All the new smilies will return very soon, they take awhile to set up. You will also spot a couple of new forums to. If you have any questions ask them here.

Page 38 of the Zero Hour manual basically says... So you can't use your older Generals maps in Zero Hour, they need to converted first.

Hi Teabag. Its alway good to have a moan :lol: Anyway. I can tell you that you will never have to register to get your Generals or Zero Hour maps from us. I hate going to site to download file only to find out that I have register :roll: When I can see that registering serves no purpose. We at CNCNZ.com don't do it, Lion on the Den site doesn't do it either because we are old school sites. We don't need all the registering to download crap here. Infact Teabag you have done all the registering you need to do at CNCNZ.com by joining our forums :wink:

I paid $46.95 for Zero Hour. The cheapest price in NZ! I think the prices for games are about the same here in NZ as they in Aussie, only a few dollars difference.

Yes it is under control. I back up the forum database every 24 hours. On somedays every 12 hours :wink: So if problem ever happen in the future (fingers crossed they won't) we just set up the phpBB scripts again, upload our back up database and tell phpBB to use it.

Your IP address alway changes so I if tell what your IP address was when you last posted here it would be different to your IP right now. If your using Windows XP just double click on the little monitors icon next to the clock on your task bar to bring up your ISP connection status, click on the Details tab. Look for the line that say Client IP. This will show your current IP address.

Zero Hour is Generals 2 if you ask me. A full blown sequel to Generals would be bad. There isn't enough of story to continue it. My guess is this other RTS team at EALA is probably developing RA3.
