I heard from a few sources that Metallica have been confirmed to appear at the New Zealand Big Day Out event in Jan 2004.

If you have the DVD version of the S&M concert you can switch off the orchestra and just listen Metallica play the songs. Its the only way to listen to No Leaf Clover and -Human since they were not released any where before. I'll rip a copy off my CD of the King Nothing (Tepid Remix) and let you know where you can download. Although you could probably find it on Kazaa if you like using those programs.

I really enjoyed playing through Soldier of Fortune II, once you get he passed the first mission that is little lack luster, then you get to the missions in the jungle. The mission in the hospital was a tricky one to. Generally a good game all round!

Did anyone see their performance of Frantic at the 2003 MTV Video Awards? Wasn't such a good performance, they were out of sync for most of the song, James sounded a bit rough to. But you would expect the song to sound strange when Metallica were given 3 minutes to perform a song that is 5:45 long. It was a rushed version of Frantic.

Hey Rider, your not one of the those Metallica bashers are you? I get defensive when some says something bad about Metallica 8) Their new album has the raw sound, the songs are loud and kick ass....incase the fans forgot that what Metallica do, forget about the commercialized days of the Black album and then Load/ReLoad. No slow moving songs anymore. Its all hard, fast with big fat guitars.

All I see in those lists are mostley FPS and RTS games. Doesn't anyone play sports games anymore?

Track 8 is Sweet Amber.....I think that song is ok. The only part of the album I don't like is the last part of All Within My Hands, where James Hetfield keeps singing "Kill, Kill, Kill" over and over. Kinda lame that part.

Can we stop this phpBB vs Invision war please :roll: When CNCNZ.com was moved to this server back in June I had the option of either phpBB or Invision for the new forums. I know I made the right choice in going with phpBB. Even back in the days of using the old UBB forums it was decided that once the oppertunity came up phpBB was always the forum of choice.

Splinter Cell on PS2 looks rather sad compared to the PC version. The PS2 can't generate the same cool lighting and shadow effects. I saw someone playing at the local Harvey Norman store (big retail chain here in NZ). They were playing on the oil rig level, the water that you see with the sun light bouncing off it looked bland I thought.

I will not bring back the Confed clan in any way, shape or form. It was all the previous members that killed it so its better off staying dead I think :kane:

We used to have clan for CNCNZ.com called Chaos Confederacy, later rename to Generals Confederacy X. It never really worked out and was then shut down. I don't see it returning.

The member number means nothing here, that's why you can't see it. Its mostly for internal use, its how the forum tracks your stats etc......nothing more.
