Okay, first of all: the ridiculous penalties heaped upon the German nation at the end of WWI by the Treaty of Versailles (however that is spelled) was more than enough to get the German nationalists involved in Hitler's rebuilding. Hitler offered hope to the masses - hope of getting out from under the debt that their great great grandchildren would have still been paying if something wastn't done. The hatred was the virus within the program if you know what i mean- there were over 1 million German soldiers fought in WW2, not half of them were actual Nazi's, and the SS units were the ones filled to the rim with hater-aid. Next: when Germany invaded Russia it was because Hitler feared for the precious oil supplies that he had recently taken over in... Bulgaria i think, which were within bomber range from the nearest Russian controlled land. If those oil fields burned it would be the end for Germany. And if he was going to invade any part of Russia he knew he would have to cut the head off of the snake immediately... problem was weather, terrain, and supply problems ran against him in the end. Plus his tanks ran up against some of the heaviest armor of the time - the Russian T-34 tanks for the first time. Stalin had been preparing for the possibility of his own invasion, studying the German armor, etc. But the soft spot he had for England was true. And the involvement - at first indirectly and then directly with the British war effort made one helluva difference. If not for us then it would have been different. The Japanes attacked us because we cut off the supply of oil and steel that they had been using in their war effort in Asia. It was our attempt to put diplomatic pressure on them to pull out of China, etc... the Japanese felt that they were going to have to face the U.S. and without the supplies they would need to shut us down quickly. Needless to say THEY FKD UP.

An atk dog cannon!! Why didn't i think of that?!?! Actually i did alter the paradrop to drop in those wonderful little exploding monkeys that i made (and i had them explode with a loud MOO too). But then i thought... that's just silly....

Actually i was thinking that there could have been a DIPLOMATIC solution that would have ended the war shortly after the fall of France. Imagine this: France falls quickly (no surprise there) and Britain is drawn into the fray by the support pact they had with Poland/France... BUT Hitler calls for a cease fire and for a meeting with Great Britain - asking that a neutral Russia sit at the table on Germanys side. Of course Britain would have the U.S. on their side of the table. And here's what could happen- Hitler offers to return the majority of France and all of the other nations to their rightful governments with the conditions that the German majority populated regions be released back to the old German Empire. If nothing else came from the negotiations Germany would have a chance to give their troops temporary rest, continue to build up materials, continue to train soldiers, and gain much needed intel in case the diplomatic solution failed. I don't think it would fail because with Hitler coming forward and offering peace through diplomacy, Britain couldn't exactly shoot it down without taking a hit on their standings in the eyes of the world. Plus, the American people at that time didn't want anything to do with the war so our Pres would have to push for a diplomatic solution also. And Russia would be diffused as a potential hostile against Germany because they would be right there getting their portions of Poland and Finland back, etc....

I've already built some of them using Tibed... For the British we have the Thatcher Tank - tough as nails and powerful in close quarters. "Iron Maggie" For the Russians we have the Spetznas commandos - heavy caliber carrying amphibious crossing, building occupying, C4 weilding killaz. For the U.S. i made an Anti Armor Sniper named Raven. She can deal serious damage to vehicles and aircraft (like choppers) with her .50 caliber sniper rifle. Booya! And for the french (since i can't stand them) we have exploding monkey soldiers. These disgusting furry little creatures are packed full of dynamite that goes up in a fiery mushroom and a pitiful squeek. Tibed is great....

Angles of Death, The Psychopat Doctors of Nazi

As horrible as world war II was we wouldn't be where we are without the knowledge that was gained during that period of time. The medical field in general was advanced by the records that were taken from the concentration camps - thus people all over the world benefit from the findings that were captured. The experiments that civilized people could not possibly do because of their terrible nature were actually done by Nazi doctors like Mengele and the others. BTW: The Japanese did plenty of horrible things to POWs, political prisoners, and civilians in the nations that they overran during WW2 also - but no one ever really mentions what they did. We gained knowledge from their experiments also. Everything from electronics, chemistry, physics, industrialization, metallurgy, to biology took a great leap forward during that time period. Much of what we have to day is a result of discoveries and inventions that came about during wartime. PS Cygnus: Stalin had a Hitler obsession that you wouldn't believe... and even Hitler knew "better dead than Red". -
I would have to say the terrorists are a pain when they bail out just a split second before the flaktrak is blown up and they scatter to the four winds to blow up everything nearby. Then of course the Yuri clones really tick me off when they botch up a perfectly good tank formation by mindzapping one or more of them. Hey Bware as far as the terror drones go: When i get a tank that is 'infected' i try to send the tank as close to another enemy base as i can - after losing my tank then the drone is THEIR problem from then on, not mine. Last but not least the prism tanks are too overpowerful with thier killer range and damage... i think i hate them most of all.

Germany, no doubt. If i would have been Hitler's closest advisor the war would have turned out completely different.

Alright, i've been fooling around with the Tibed prog and decided that i wanted to give the Russians in RA2/Yuri some fastmover airpower = Migs. I copied over an airfield and copied Boris' airstrike Migs over to become a buildable unit attached to the airfield as their 'dock'... seems perfectly fine except: in the game i can't seem to limit the build of the migs to 4 units per airfield... and when they go out to attack always one of them would not land again - it would hover, fly out, return a couple of times and then crash. No matter what i did it never fixed the problem so i deleted them. I would love to put them back in - especially if i could get them to have a secondary missile against air targets also!! Can anyone help me?
