i don't think the banks would be stupid enough to really let us fall into a majorly bad situation o.O it would affect them too... what us is having all the money in the country if no-one else has any money at all? everyone would be out of a job, the system would collapse. all the people in the bank with the money would have to move to another country. and as much as they wanna be rich i don't think any single bank would go THAT far... and if they did there would be a major inquest into it and they'd all be arrested and the government would sort out the crisis somehow o.O

yah i can't script... and if you read back a little way you'd realise that Firefox is the problem o.O i can't access some sites on it o.o it just times out :\ but the flv downloader i have on FF works fine... the problem is i can't load the page xD so i need to find an alternate browser that loads the page and has an flv downloader o.o and opera seems to fit the bill nicely o.O (personally i think the site i'm thinking of might have banned my firefox or something because i'm downloading their stuff. to download clips on that site you have to pay xD and i'm all ninja an stuff... and everytime i find a sneaky way around it and download some stuff, a couple of days later i can't do it anymore XD but i will keep fighting >:U )

i think this counts as a political section now. or at least, focused on the economy... and i just looked at a news story about lehman brothers taking something like 400-something million dollars from a german bank just before they went bankrupt o.o the aol news page dunno how long that page will stay up for, but my theory is that one of the managers got the money transfered over, then when the place went kaput he/she stole all that money for themselves and are now living in acapoco living off martinis in a luxury villa XD

don't worry about the ducklings! ^-^ i've seen the photos straight after that one. they all fall down and then they all get rescued a couple of minutes later, and they are reunited with their mother :3 but wow... is that fitness centre for real? o_O damn... XDDDD

if you're looking for picture quality i'd say just look for any game that is detailed or has lots of small things (be them just too small on screen or in the distance) it would enhance things a little o.o probably wouldn't make that much of a difference but it might clear it up a tiny bit on screen. i'd say go for FPS's, RTS's and RPG's... the first would have far away things and the latter would have lots of small details which you'd wanna be able to see better :3 but yah you'll never get the picture quality of a HD console... nothing you can do about that really. unless you're gonna go all out and buy a load of mods for your PS2... it would be cheaper and easier to buy a next gen console in that situation. you can only buff a game so much before it reaches the quality limit designed for it o.o the HD consoles HAVE to have better skins and polys and such... because if HD is advertised, you expect to see extreme quality in comparison to standard tv o.o not to mention technology has just advanced more since the PS2 ^^; the power of the machines allows for much higher poly rates without lag... more AI models on screen at once... though if you're really sticking for PS2 stuff... hmm... virtua fighter 4, vietcong purple haze, urban chaos - riot response, the thing, star wars battlefront (1 or 2 though they are MUCH better on pc o.o), state of emergency (admit it. just killing stuff for no reason is fun XD), robot warlords (fun turn based strategy game with mechas), resi evil (outbreak and dead aim. but you need a lightgun for the latter), predator: concrete jungle, oni, operation winback (old game. one of the first i got for the PS2... but even though it was limited and the graphics aren't amazing by today's standards, it's a fun game to play...), guitar hero, killzone, crazy taxi, conflict: desert storm + vietnam, call of duty, battlefield 2, atelier iris (GREAT rpg... i loved it to death o_o), armored core 1 + 2, aliens vs predator: extinction the games i most enjoyed from my collection i've got a lot more games then that but meeeeh... those are the games i played to death xD some would look good with a componant cable, others are just worth getting to play. i hope you try them out (assuming you don't already own half of those xD)

sooner or later i will get around to playing the later stages... but creature stage really killed it for me. yah... definately after a second or third play there will be nothing left to do. unless you're willing to try every different evolution path to see the tiny differences that emerge... but i don't think any of us like the game THAT much x3;

glad we could be of help ^^; but a bipolar crusader... eep... you've got a lot of work ahead of you methinks. though we can hope that the crusader side will make them want to help themselves out of trouble a little... maybe give them a little incentive. that person sounds like someone who will try to get something done when their beliefs agree with it... good luck, and keep at it... they will thank you for it in the future
