Waraddict is right they need to reserch there Tanks and weapons a bit there. By 20 years we'll have the "RailTank" as i like to call it which could pirce freaking Battleship armor and shoot down Jets, having a lazer machingun mounted on it's top. so yes EA just didint do there research also they wanted to give GLA a chance to survive for 1 day agienst CHINA and U.S.A.

Cygnus is right, Infact they have rail guns on some BS's or so i thought but there big and bulky. Lasers now for that matter we could have them by then but the Cost would be to great so it would take about 3 or 4 years "Cost Affective" crap, Also ION Engines "Stated by some one else in the forums" Are also about 50 60 years away. to sum it all up if you stay healthy dont get ran over by a bus you could see all this stuff take form in your life time.

Yes, it was fun to play i like most eavery one else hated it because it WASENT C&C, it also had no story line.

First they assembled there tanks in Old barns and such so the luftwaffel didint just whipe them out then after than Phase was over the russians preaty stupidly put tanks out in the open to battle not really using the cover they had in the cities. But then the Civi's and military all rallied up to keep a constant go at the german tank batalions while they were re inforced from the Mountain area using there *Super Tanks* and such things to fight back the german army, Also dont forget they used much artilary in bulidings and bunker around the City quite an Ennoyance to the germans. As well this wouldent fit in to the Games story line but the Americans sent tons of tanks and supplies to them up threw Sybaria where the invasion force hit's in your story.
