SW general was actually very tactical, its just a matter of opinion. If it was just about turtling, the Tomahawk Storm n ICBM would have been left in.

Patronising comments should be retracted for the matter of discussion Acerz. We read the articles, and some of our comments never made reference to the article. The article made no reference to the missile being able to withstand more shots as it is upgraded. -
Incorrect Acerz. Theres about 5% chance of it getting hit. The only way I've seen it destroyed in air though, is if a superweapon strikes just where its flying over.

Nice strategy. The hardest side to win with is actually the US air force general, its too predictable a side, and thats a weakness. If you can catch yiour enemy on the ground in a hammer and anvil situation, you've won.

China's disadvantage is that its too slow. Even the Mig can be shot down by a statuatory Quad cannon/avenger. If you can outpace or use the air advantage, you've got more chance of defeating China. Going toe to toe with them using brute force is stupid.

I laugh at you, for the moment. Ha, ha, ha ham. The Scuds anthrax is just as effective at clearing out troop crawlers. Watching them melt is much more fun than watching them just disappear.

Auroras are the best plane at dealing with the Avenger for the simple fact being, Avengers can't be shot at until they unload their bomb. Because most of the avengers tend to be grouped, a single shot is normally devestating. Especially with the Alpha bomber!

Psychological warfare with SW is not gameplay, its chance. Have you ever played Chance? Anyway, if you've relied too heavly on SW, you're not a general, you're a turtle. Turtles never prosper and are the C&C equiavlent of Counter Strike AWP snipers. 2 or 3 SW's is called having too much money and a weak opponent. If you can get them AND fire them, your opponent deserves to die.

Vampire, you laugh but we think realistically. China has littl;e effective defense against the Scud except perhaps the speed of its Migs and the inferno cannon. The Chinese have ways around these things, and it helps reinforce their horde mentality.

A dozen for avengers has a name for it - Overkill. Avengers are best deal with using good ole fashioned brute force. Planes and Tanks support each other in the military and ZH is no exception. you prioritise your targets and don't spawn tonnes of a single unit and you'll be abel to fight any foe. Even avengers, when you want to use aircraft.

BWare is right. Your brain can actually only remember 8 things in the short term and then in the long term, they just fade away. -
Destroying the SW is hard enough withou8t havign to try and finish off the base. The antithesis of your attack should be in securing the points for resetting the SW. Then,. as the count downs get to near zero, capture and reset them. If you can then build up an attack force strong enough to hold her forces at the bridge, or even better, drive them back, you can begin chipping at her defences with planes and artillery, thus softening them up for a final attack with your tanks.

Avengers rip Comanches to bits and shoot out their rocket pods. You'll be lucky to shoot down quads unless you got about 2 comanches for every 1 quad, in which case, you should be winning. Comanches vs ECM tanks is similar in that their missiles only scatter slightly.

I can't stop playing Generals/ZH :oops: The Particle Cannon was designed IMO, to attack the Chinese. I normally have a Cannon, but only to use as a defense buster or as a defence in itself, especially on maps with bottle necks.

Demo Scud Storm = most powerful SW in game (aside from Deathstrikes which combines Anthrax Gamma and Demo scuds). When battling against the GLA scuds as China, I think the idea should be to have some inferno cannons present or an air support column. That way you can strike the most harmful targets while continuing your advance. NB - Black Napalm is a MUST.

The chinese has the ability to be the most versatile of the forces and has the ability to fight out of any situation if you use them right. Personally, I see no point inspending generals points on units to supplement your forces or spending tonnes of money on support weapons (like artillery barrage) unless I know I'm going to be facing a rather stalwart defence (in which case I use carpet bombing). The ability to have a veteran horde with better firing rates ranks higher on my list than 'destroy ebemies warfactory so they can rebuild it again'. I feel an article on spending Generals Points coming on suddenly.

Laser Gen's power requirements do my head in. I'd prefer to have a tank column than worry about constructing another power plant.

Ziggy, avengers appear to be expensive for our friend sop Raptor will suffice for Anti Air and buggy attack at the minute. 2 Raptors > 1 upgraded avenger.

I've got a soft spot for scuds because of how powerful they actually are if used properly in a suppression fire manner. Their toxic missiles are the perfect anti infantry weapon IMO.

Thorak, instead of buying things to supplement your forces, tyry buying Frenzy with your points and tyhe increased rate iof fire w/ gatt's will bring down scuds. It also rips through GLA defenses quicker. :-)
