    Forum Errors (Updated Information Posted)

It has been running like a snail recently. I've had my account suspended because the C&C Top 101 was using up too much of the servers recources

    Do you read books?

Exactly - can't see how the american version of The Office is going to work.

Have never had a major problem with any of my computers. Have never been forced to format or reinsall (although I have done out of choice).

    Simple Encryption

If you realise you're being hacked - disconnect and then hide sub7 in one of your files. If they download anything they can kiss their cpu goodbye

    Affiliation Request

Yea, I deleted some and moved others into the recycle bin.

    Forum Errors (Updated Information Posted)

I'm getting the error for the 1st time when trying to view threads. They have 2 servers already. It's just a case of going through and seeing who's running scripts that use up all the cpu and ask them to stop it. Restarting the SQL takes 2 secs and 2 clicks in WHM. Sonic, take a look in cPanel and see what the server load is like.

    Bermuda Triangle

Aeroplanes were lost there two? Well that could be due to weather, but frankly I don't really care.

    Bermuda Triangle

The undersea gas vents sounds the most plausable, as such things do exist. The gas given off decreases the density of water, and so ships simply sink.

    Broadband Confirmed.... But....

Yea, must have been the only lightning we've had in a year or two, n it took out our tv and internet  LMAO, last night I was at the chippie when they had a powercut - ironic that I had just said that we haven't had one in ages (the cut didn't affect my house though, so technically it doesn't count. More importantly, my burger still go cooked

Think you clicked "New Thread" instead of "New Reply" - I've done that myself.

    Broadband Confirmed.... But....

The lightening didn't strike my house, it must have hit the cable under the street or something and sent a surge that fried the STB.

    Are EA Losing Grip??

I hope it does. I realise that Westwood people leaving EA is a good way to show that EA is crap, but it does worry me because there are fewer and fewer people there to ensure that fun remains as the core value of C&C.

    Broadband Confirmed.... But....

No electrical devices in our house are connected to surge protectors. However all British electrical devices are fitted with fuses in the power cable. I should really buy one for our computer but we've never had a surge, and the last power cut was years ago! Although our cable set top box was fried by some lightening we had once

    CNCNZ.com, It's Future and Me

I must agree that making an improving a website is the most interesting part, and when it gets down to the day-to-day it can get pretty dull if you're just posting all the news. Good newsies (the like of Unidentifiedname) are impossible to find now-a-days and the community is drying up, luckilly for me I've had CnCWorld to re-build from the ground up so I've been kept busy. One sollution would be more and better use of CNC Community, but we always say more needs to be done but nother ever actually changes - introducing or changing CNCCom so that more sites use it would benifit the shrinking community no end. Once RA3 is released the community will grow once more - we have seen a few new sites already.
