I have the same problem. Ive searched countless fourms for a solution, contacted tech support, but no one seems to know the answer.
After searching on google, I found a temporary fix: restart your computer in safe mode, restart in normal, then install, I havent tried it yet, but many people say the game works until the next time you restart.

HOOAH! I got it to work. Just follow this link, and install the safedisk update.
