well i wouldnt be able to answer some of those questions because i dont know about rapper's personal lives. i hate how their "life sux" is all they rap about...the majority of rappers have such shallow content...gives hiphop a bad name....once again i gotta recommend that def poet show...inspiring...its not all rappers...99% poets..speaking about everything..the shows gota intellectual and socially warm feeling to it

i know BWare...i am sympathetic with you...but with my experiences i like rap/hiphop...lately ive been getting back to rock...don't get me wrong i love many types of music genre's...and to relate to BWare saying what the majority of rap refering to violence and all that...i recently saw a poet/rapper on Russell Simmon's Def Poets (one of the less artistic and more gangster musically inclined poets..sadly enough). his name was lennon i think..he was telling how everyone hated gangster rappers...i personally HATED gangster rappers until i heard his 'poem.' He was saying why gangster rappers rapped the way they did...his main point, though, was that gangster rappers rap about what they do because that is all they ever knew all their life..not being given a chance nearly as useful as any other artist's opportunity..apparently those not raised in poverous neighborhoods...i understood what his point was..and now i do not respect gangster rappers as artists but as ambitious 'businessmen.' but still i must remind you all that i like the more poetic and refined hip-hop artists and many other genres as well...(check Now Playing and see what i have recently listed).....Music hits my heart and that is why i carried on so long...as my name somewhat implies i am 40-50% a man of passion..and when my passions are questioned or criticized i react mostly defensively :wink: ......yea wuta long response i know but HEY Y NOT GET TO KNOW HOW redAsbLooD thinks.. :shock:
