Congrats Sonic on your 18th anniversary! I pop in every now and then to check on the community. Glad to see ya still around bud.

Haven't decided about RADEN yet....might keep it going. Quite a few people still download files from that site. Anyhoot, I like the changes you made to CNCNZ. I know how much work it takes...and time.

hey peeps....I decided not to renew the CNCDEN domain. Thought I better post a reply. Didn't want anyone to think I was getting senile and forgetful in my old age...LOL. Anyhoot, I keep updated on the community through the CNCNZ site. I don't know how you stay motivated Sonic, but my hats off to ya and your staff. It's great to see that the modding community is still going strong and that you support them via your website. CNCNZ is officially the last C&C website standing.

Congrats Sonic on 13 years in the C&C Community, and for giving this community 13 years of dedicated service above and beyond what would be expected of a webmaster. CNCNZ continues to be an anchor site for the community. Here's wishing you another 13 years my friend.

Update you story again...I made a small mistake in the quote. Mike actually stated that "he's a big fan of Generals". I had to listen to it a few times to get it right. Coming through my speakers it sounded like he said he wasn't a big fan. I put my headphones on, and that's what he does say, that he's a big fan of Generals. Sorry for the screw-up. I also posted a bit more of what he said in that interview. Just check CNCDEN.

Actually, he doesn't state what game or universe it is in during that interview. I have that special DVD and watched it. He deos say that we'll know something about it in early 2009.

I can understand the problems with the issue of connectiing online, but that issue with the missing letter/number is a whole different story. Not everyone who buys the game will know that it's missing a certain letter/number, and they have to guess it in order to install their game. Do you know how ridiculous that is? I can now say that after more than 10 years of being in the C&C community, I have seen it all.

a big pussy..... :lol: I doubt the construction crew I run would agree with ya. They think I'm mean and demanding. Pardon me if I don't get excited, but I've been in the community since the original Red Alert days. I've learned not to take things too personal. As far as me and Sonic goes, he's been a very good friend for many years. I have great respect for him and his site, and he knows that. I refrained from posting my personal views in public on any article that comes from CNCNZ. What I do is communicate with the article writer in private. I think C&C King will verify that. It's true that there are some people that get a tad carried away on the comments section in the news at the DEN. But let's keep in mind the majority of visitors are young. They may not have honed their social skills as well as we'd like to see. But it goes with the territory. I can go to any gaming community on the net and see the same thing. You should visit some of the offical forums for games if you think the DEN is bad.
