We play on the least populated, most helpful server, and we like it that way....

It's an issue the Microwave tank has with ATi's smoothvision. turn it off, and it'll clear up.

Max Payne 2 is good. I'll have to take on the other game modes now that I've beaten it once. The story is great, that's for sure.

Halo : Combat evolved seems very blah from the demo, Halo 2 is altogether a diffrent matter, RL. I got the same impression from the Homeworld 2 demo, and I won't know a thing about MP2 untill I actually play it, but people say it's good.

Hmmm... I'd think the addiction, not to the drug itself, but the feeling pot gives you and the midset it puts you in are dangerous. People litterally stop having lives because of it. They don't do anything but get high and don't care that they don't have any extra money to live on, they then lack the ability and/or will to try to improve their situation. Keeping them from really living. Legal drugs aren't good for any society. Both alcohol and pot should actually be illegal because of what people do when they're using them.

they're Catalyst 3.7s, last time I checked(friday) I was still up to date... I just happen to enjoy pretty looking stuff on my screen and force it to do FSAA 16x and make it use smothvision. I turned it down and it doesn't cause a problem.

My screen litterally goes black, except for the control bar.

There's also an issue with Radeon cards and displaying the microwave tank's aura effect. essentially it blocks out a large portion of the map. when I got one in the campaign, I had to send it to its death, otherwise I'd have been blind.

I said almost, but from preliminary results it seems like the NV40s are suffering from similar problems as the NV38s. I bleieve it has something to do with ATi's architechture and it's capabilities within DX9 compare to what nVidia does with theirs, which makes me think there are some really stupid people at nVidia.

Production capacity has nothing to do with it anymore, not since AMD came along, the quality product is what matters, not the ability to produce it. Asus has officially dropped their nVidia contract and we'll be likely to see them trying to develop ATi chipsets onto their Motherboards very soon, completely eliminating any advantage nVidia had in that department. nVidia is slowly diying, and it almost seems like they are in an uncontrolable spiral.

You're a year late on that, they took it with the 9700, nVidia never came back for the crown. It's only now that the DX9 games are coming out that most of the world is realising it.

ATI can't assault themselves, you fool! They became the king and heven't allowed nVidia to take it back. They are doing the job nVidia has forgotten to.

That'll only get rid of the EA logo, you need to use -quickstart to get rid of both it and the movies.
