  2. I feel stupid for asking this but what is the gap gens deploy mode function? When I use it all I notice is a HUGE surge in my power useage (The game I was playing when I found this, I had about half of the Arctic Circle map covered with them if that makes a diffrence). BTW I have only ever really played skirmish mode no online or Lan so i can't/ havent tested it that way.

    Last Soviet Mission

    If we are talking the RA2 mission where we have to destroy the Kermlin: 4 kirovs total will do fine. First send them to the south east corner, then north all the way to the top right(let them rest half way up the map edge if they need to heal up), then west after the kremlin !_BUT_! you must destroy the reactor to shut all the north bases AA down. Let your base fall no need for it with the kirovs in hand. (This was on normal).

    I belive that the first one might have been on the commando and its evolution throught the series as a whole. I think gamespot linked it at one point but I have a feeling I'm ganna be proved otherwise.

    Neither. Its just pure fact that all RTS games suck with a controller and once you do hook a mouse and keyboard up youre playing a fixed spec PC not a Console. The only console that will have the slightest chance of pulling off a decent RTS will be the Wii due to the far greater respose and aim thats needed RTS games thats provided by the wiimote. And what points at Nintendo being on the verge of extenction any?

    Elements of the Generals that should stay in CnC3

    Scrap upgrades suck, never made any diffrence to any game I've played as or against GLA. They should keep the General powers as they were pretty decent addition for the series, but I'm not sure on keeping the unit heros but country country/side generals should make a come back (besides thats not generals exclusive RA series had them to begin with). They country generals do spice up multiplayer a fair bit though giving a larger strategy pool to pick from for play style (My personal favorite being USA airforce gen) but I just don't like hero system i.e. whoops there goes Burton time to build another as if he never existed, should have a restriction on their use (1 life no rebuilds). More tactics=more fun (at least for me)=possibly less cheepness and nobz online.
  8. -Actors that are not wood (Not saying any C&C game has had them just saying because of EA) -FMV (Although that should be obvious from the above) -Classic Side Bar from TD (Just so I can be rid of it when I'm marching troops into battle and need all the screen I can get) -In-game FMV that replaces the radar for a short period (like with the scrin ship mission for GDI in TSun) -The forgotten should still be around -Massive battles (AI needs to send more than 5-6 units a time after me) -Civies trying to live out there day to day lives in the Green Zones and Shiners in the Red Zones (No real impact on the game just a nice little touch) -Big maps with potentialy unlimited money (Simalar concept to off-dune missions in Emporer:Battle for Arrakis(Dune) i.e. So long as Radar+Conyard+Tech Center are up AND powered a (small) cashflow could be established from the UN/BrotherHood) -Return of the power down/up tool of TSun (very handy IMO) All things I would like to see but units I will leave to others

    C&C 3 - hazardous

    TBH the harvesters shown here are more like the original ones from the mission intros in TD and I do like them. I would like to see NOD with a diffrent harvester, perhaps with better refinment in the collection process allowing them to gather more than the GDI counterparts from a single crystal? (but of course take a bit longer to do so to balance it out). Seeing as tiberium is organic perhaps the pod decays after a period of time as there are rings in the ground around the crystals. Just a few thoughts...

    The Spy with a Chrono Legion disguise confuses a lot of people to begin with. But I would have to say Chrono Commandos are my favorite esp when backed up by a few Legions. Good trick if you know you're opponent is going to target you're AA with rockies is to fill flack tracks with flack troopers. Most stop targeting them when they notice that theres 5 times the guns shooting at the Rockies than before

    I've got the Red Alert 2 Sound Track (+Tesla Trooper Figure) with the collectors edition of RA2 Which i do enjoy playing every now and again though mostly when I'm playing other games. dd/mm/yy Used by those who were under British rule mm/dd/yy Used by Americans Only exception to this rule is 9/11 which stays that way pretty much where ever its discussed (My english lecture had this in it to day so it looks like uni is useful after all)(!!!Go Otago Uni!!!).
