Last game I bought was Oblivion.

can you post your running tasks? processes etc. I think some sort of process is causing the delay...

Main problem is Vista. There are still lots of issue's on the Beta version with DirectX. Generals is not build for a beta version of a new O/S. Kinda logical right? Lots of problems with *.dll files and system file. Booting Beta Vista is seriously not recommended. The drivers for graphic cards and the rest of the system are not 100% supported cause they not have been tested on the Beta program. At this moment there is not a single certified driver that runs on Beta Vista. so, you know the cure. De-install it and have fun. Cheers

no problems over here with hard army's. When you compare a hard army to an average human player the AI is way to easy. It is predictable as hell. Online is quite an issue when playing 2vs2. Loads work together so 3 friends against 1 (1 doesn't do much) I think its quite challenging to figth 2 opponents 8)

@ MadBadger: undestand your opinion but come on dude, seriously, don't you think your reactions are a little over the top? I am new here ( in posting that is ) but I read for a little while now. Its not fun for newcomers to read this kind of stuff. I play Generals (Zero-Hour) from the beginning but I registered couple of days ago so I am also a noob? quite interesting :? My english is also not that perfect, kinda logical cause its not my native language. And hell yeah, its quite stupid to blame it on drivers for your video card as it doesn't make sense for this problem. I think its a heat problem, when my card (6800GT) is heating up to much my textures will blurr and take different shapes and colors. you never know by the way, its not an attack or something, looking forward to your reaction. I think you have an AMD processor, am i right? if so, you should install the latest (if it is a NForce board) VIA and Nforce drivers to fix this problem. I had the same issue. Second thing is, always install the latest driver of your graphics card. It has something to do with the AI calculations. In challenge or campaign it is fixed AI and in skirimish mode it is radomly cause evey game is different. try that first and let us know.

I came uppon this forum by accident while searching for some info about Zero Hour. Looks good and I already extracted loads of information that can help me in the battle I play with around 11 guys in a little clan all against eachother or 2 vs 2. Really good fun and we are trying to expand. Have together with 3 other guys my own car club with around 13 show worthy cars. Costs a lot of time and effort to make it to each show. You always want to let the club be seen from his best side, however this is not always possible unfortunate. I work in an international computer trading distribution (HP,IBM) as a head staff of logistics and backoffice. Mainly I only do business and talk to people in foreign country's. At the moment we are the largest HP renew reseller in Europe. So, I think this is enough info for now. mayb later on much more 8) cheers
