Hello ! I have a problem with the movies in Red Alert 2 and Yuri's Revenge I can see huge black boxes appearing on the screen during playback the movies. For example when I start Yuri, and the EA logo appears, suddenly a lot of big black boxes cover it, and after that, the boxes are disappearing one by one. I can see the same black boxes (artifacts?) in the in-game movies, too I read this problem in another forum (some other people met the problem, too) . Maybe you have an idea to solve this problem I have an updated XP SP2, my config is : p4 2.8 GHZ, Nvidia 6600 GT with the latest driver, Direct X 9.0c I haven't installed any codec packs, and I can't see this error in the other games I have ( a lot of games are using BIK videos, and those are working perfectly) Thanks!

When I can play Oblivion or Tomb Raider Legends with next gen settings flawlessy, I don't think that my computer or my settings would be the problem... Maybe, this kind of video is too old for my system? Maybe it could be a driver conflict? I am using Nvidia 84.43 driver. I will try to adjust my read ahead optimalizaton. And I am not the only one with this problem In another support forum, I found 3 topics about this. But they have not found the solution.

It is not because of my video card is hot. I have a lot of other games (Oblivion, Age of III, FEAR, Far Cry, etc) Lot of them are using BIK videos too, and I don't have any problems, just in the videos of RA2 and Yuri's Revenge I am using the newest Nvidia driver for my 6600GT Thanks.
