no its prob not gonna be iraq war like. for one they dont have the manpower to mount a ground assault. at most it will be a cruise missile strike or airstrike. iran is sure to go after their carrier groups in the persian gulf after that. iran has a proper army, not like iraq with outdated and crap weapons. iran has ballistic missiles and anti ship capability. hope they kick ass if they are invaded. you cant just invade another country and get away with it - twice.

i'm happy as long as it remains the subject of games and not more.... highest probability is in oil rich areas. already USA is surrounding china to block oil ( from iraq/iran) and natural gas....trying to slow china down. USA has armed taiwan with all latest weapons to maintain control over oil in south china sea. russia is currently out of the picture but is historically resilient. middle east aka muslim world aka terrorists are fortunate or unfortunate enough to be sitting on the worlds oil. the solution is giving them permanant seat on the UN which is so ridiculous that more than 1 billion ppl of the world arent represented in UN. And give a permanent seat to africa too. they dont have a say in world matters thats why their countries are FFA and you never know the truth about them.

thats sick........america is fast becoming the symbol of drugs, porn, child abuse, murder, materialism , hedonism, arrogance, tolerated in the name of 'freedom' ... and they say its a superpower. nah baseball is a brainless game imo. there is still an element of strategy in cricket plus more skill. in baseball all u have to do is whack the ball hard... no classy, cheeky shots, no variety in balls except swing through the air.....the one thing i hate about crick is its too long so its pretty worthless trying to watch a whole match. not so if ur playing out there tho.

yeah it just dragged on and on.... personally i thought NZ had a chance this time had they got to the final.....thats 3 semi-finals without a final for the blackkaps....feel sorry 4 fleming

love c&c 3 the way it is... but they have to do something different next time.... they cant keep banking on the same formula. But some things that shouldnt change : 1. interface 2.bring back the jukebox! 3.mammoth/stealth tanks/orcas etc 4...........i get the feeling the list is going to go on hehe so maybe they should, like use the generals brand as some sort of sacrificial goat or something, do something so radically different with it so that its kind of like a testbench. Westwood did the same with dune i think

from some german games mag shows off the waypoint system, destructible environments and alot of new stuff ( did that nod harvestor just 'chrono'?) ... game is shaping up nicely

i liked them and hope they are backed up with some more techno stuff as well. plus does any1 know whether we're going to have tracks that we can manually select or the generals style where the music is auto changed. i am personally in favour of manual tracks because , well i dont like the sad stuff playing every time i lose a building or something - i like to set the mood myself. i think only in FPS games you can control the music effectively because they are scripted - like the movies. in unscripted games it cheapens the experience when your vibe isnt with the computer selected track. And wouldn't it be nice if the User Interface had a menu+shortcut that let you select tracks quickly in-game?

niiiiiiiice.... checkout gamespot C&C 3 forum someone got GFW and posted magazine scans and some interesting info: http://www.gamespot.com/pc/strategy/comman...&pid=932602 plus a ton of new images at: http://www.gamereplays.org/community/index...howtopic=171556 - Joe Kucan says his next project is a CnC 3 expansion. not sure if he's joking, but interesting. - the alien units and structures have a very theilaxu look to them (if you played Emperor: Battle for Dune, another Westwood game, you'll know what i mean) - Steve Jablonsky and Trevor Morris are doing music, they're including "shout-outs" to some of the past games most popular tracks - graphics are gorgeous, you'll definetely want to run this game in max settings, the graphics are amazing from these screens. - EVERYTHING is destructible, infantry use a CoH style cover system (ie. objects can be used as defilades) - harvesters have basic defenses. - interesting MP feature: there can be alot of spectators, and one player can act as a cameraman/commentator for a match. EA is really trying to make CnC 3 the next big MP game. - Load times incredibly short (10 seconds) - Player can get to top tier units in around 8-minutes (this was the GFW editor playing, so could be even faster for leet players)

hehe thanks cnc king but i'm still waiting (and hoping) for the official answers. However with regards to tactical gameplay i meant , just to take 1 example, will we be able to build a wall somewhere and hence create an artificial cover point for infantry/some vehicles? the AI thing is good but what can the player himself do in terms of tactics? And secondly, since u get to talk to predator alot , this game SHOULD support dual core. i mean quad core is out and cnc must take advantage of pc power. i hope this doesnt have to do with the game coming out on consoles too.

thanks hypnotist! i'd like you to ask about : - how the game takes strategic AND tactical gameplay forward with special emphasis on the tactical part ( I mean, I wouldn't want it to be just ' make the right number of units with the right combination and you have a good chance of winning') - frame rate/slowdowns specially as this has been happening with ATI owners in past EALA games -the camera - the degree of zoom and rotation and how far you can zoom out because generals default was just too close, i liked red alert's view distance and whether you can easily and smoothly change your camera zoom/angle - will the avatar rip out weapons in a cool animation or will it be like the GLA in generals. - will aircraft just stand in 1 position and take fire or will they try to dodge enemy fire. - dual core/quad core processor support and is c&C taking advantage of these advances in processors. -will we be able to combine our own units and make a kind of super unit. (the avatar's thing is a kind of upgrade, i'm talking about combination)

It was how the game slowed down so much even with a nominal number of units/amount of action in the screen. i had a radeon 9800 pro which was one of the top cards at that time. part of the reason why the old 2d stuff was so great was the consistent smoothness of the game which maintained the 'fast,fluid' gameplay that mike verdu talks about. judging from reactions to BFME2 gfx (i havent played myself) it has the same problem. Now that perdator's here: pleeeeeeease dont let this happen with c&c3!

apparently all the hi fi actors have been filled into GDI / NOD/ news reporters. That should eliminate the forgotten from the list of possibilities for the 3rd side.

yeah. this link was posted by someone on gamespot - some overenthusiastic kid maybe.... but soundtracks arnt neccesarily done at the end, i mean , some prince of persia warrior withihn music tracks were realeased pretty early to create hype....that said C&C has enough of that.
