IF you have xcc mixer, then you can find it in the RA2/RA2MD mix files, and then in the isotemp/isosnow/isourb files.

people love the stuff from concept art... i myself am trying to recreate that really good hammerhead vehicle for one of my mods... but for some reason it isnt working right, just causes a crash... damn thing..

all the sounds are wavs and i have entries... but when i have the sound editor open, and drag them to it, they dont appear in the window...

yep... but still weak to mind control... mind control is probably the most effective thing to use in the game... mainly because you can just take control of another units weapon... even better when you have Yuri Prime... -

5 tanks, and 10 gi's? 10 gi's down before they stand a chance, thanks to virus... but if... if they did... gattling mangles too quickly... 2 masterminds and 3 yuri clones... thats 9 links... considoring 2 gi's are taken out just as they approach with the virus... then brutes, even if they are shredded by gi weaponry go down taking 2 gi's.. at least... with them. that leaves you 5 gi's, and 5 tanks.10 units... another 2 gi's are killed by virus, and... total mind control of your retaliation attack.... or... just use the lovely psi wave to destroy all gi's.... i never just have masterminds without anti infantry... Tell now who just got owned? -

my average yuri attack pattern involves 3 yuri clones, 2 viruses, 3 brutes, 2 magnetrons, 2 gattling tanks and 2 masterminds. Nothing stands a chance... rocketters are gone before they have a chance, all enemy defenses are gone from huge distances away with magnetron, and any vehicle rushes are torn open from the inside by mind control. huge amounts of infantry are destroyed by viruses... there is no weakness in yuris army. Only if i am really desperate will i use floating disks, and that insures a victory. Yuri is probably the best aggressive army.. -
I am currently making a mod of AVP for YR, and need help. I could do with: AI coder Map Maker Vxl maker An original shp maker an additional ini coder. This mod contains all three of the species, as well as a couple of smaller divisions for the marines, and maybe the aliens. Each side is tactically different, and, instead of typical mods and the original command and conquer, will have specific strengths and weaknesses which can be exploited. wheres the "they are all equally as offensive" option? soviets are slow powerful offensive. V3 mangle from a distance, powerful explosives. apocalypse tanks mangle... everything mangles..... Allies are fast and number offensive. Battle fortress isnt stopped by anything, holds quite a few units, thunderhawk, fast prism tanks.. overwhelmed. Yuri is turn on self offensive. Yuri clones take over something, everything fires at that, then that is destroyed, take over next thing. Brutes mangle tanks and men.. gattling protects from aerial anti rush tactics. In their own ways, they are all damn effective at attack, and defense... -
I have tried savage war and deezire... ok... deezire seriously isnt a nice place for new modders to ask for help with new idea's... its like "No... i dont see how it would work... doesnt seem to be anything like any other mod out there... hmmm... wouldnt work." Well.... not that i am not grateful for the offer of a hand, as i know you do tons of stuff... but i seriously need someone who can spend some time on the AI... 2 sides need to be totally revamped with the AI ( I dont want aliens attacking bases with facehuggers now, do I?).. Thanks anyway fen..

tank rush.... ha!!! Warheads in RA1 are kinda wrongly positioned... I managed to kill a tank with one man, with the man at half strength, and the tank at full... RA1 was a good game... and the operative word is WAS.. everyone remembers RA1 being excellent. Of course... i remember the first resident evil being scary...heh... man.. i was crazy.. YR rules... Ra2 still contains stuff from TS, nothing new.... Yuris revenge gives new innovations, new abilities... ok.. so yuri's side seems overpowered sometimes, but then, in RA2, the Ai on brutal always seemed to mangle you, because it could start building as soon as the old one stopped.... The moral of this story is... The past is best left there...

Does anyone know if the fog of war still works in red alert 2 and doesnt cause a crash, or if there is any way to fake it?

superweapons are a wise mans weapon.... you can be obliterated if you play in the wrong way, you spend so long creating thousands of units ready for a tank charge on an enemies base, then you deserve to be obliterated, through lack of any sort of planning, and making the game boring. of course, if you are smart, and create 2 bases, then you force the enemy to choose between the two... superweapons are there against people who create thousands of units, in an attempt to swamp their enemy..

I am currently looking for some staff for my mod. This is my first mod, and generally, I am finding it hard to find any sort of help on it. My new mod is an AvP mod ( Alien versus Predator), and i am currently exploring a new system of advancement, which involves utilising a complex number of mutate warheads and other such systems. Unfortunately, I spent most of my time examining the .ini coding of YR and RA2, and therefore, have little knowledge of AI or mapping. I lack the skill needed in the creation of new .SHP's and VXL's, and so i require a couple of people who could possibly do these jobs. There is no pay, no real reward, and nothing particularly brilliant i can give you. But, if i can get some good help, from some skilled and dedicated people, then it will be one seriously cool mod.
