    New Poll: Raj Vs David

Raj all the way! David is always putting Raj down and practically insulting him! David seems pompous and over the top to me! Hell, I bet Raj has at least played some C&C games and liked them. I feel David to be rather fake. Course the dialog in the entire thing is corny and over the top - but so are other sports-casting shows.

New RA3 Details & Developer Interview

Pointless talking - I thought of it as character and story development. Yeah RA2's screenplay wasn't as good as RA1 but I think there are certain things that make C&C - C&C. These aspects should come first! Yeah - superweapons, units, sides, that is all their own and above all this is EA's game now and I will look forward to it anyway, but if you give the title a number and label it as a story in a series then it should keep some similar basics! I mean hell! the Ion Cannon hasn't died yet! but yes as I said earlier nukes are well over used but Nukes are Russia! and Communism! You can't honestly think Communism with out thinking Russia, China, Cuba, North Korea, and Vietnam with at least tying Nuclear Weapons in with them - it's as solid as the AK-47. OK ok anyway. C&C having a linear story? anything C&C? what - I guess they just want it to flow from one mission to the other - what fun is that? what depth of choice and consequence!? It just annoys me that simplicity sells. No choosing where to attack whether it has the same out come or not? I guess we will be bumped down the chain of command and power as to just do what we are told. I just think Choice has always been crucial in C&C. Ore has been there in the beginning - but as a gameplay value - resource gathering can get old as it is very old - westwood created that aspect in RTS. I really like DOW's idea of flag/area control for res - that could make very interesting game play. Course res can be brought about by say - patriotism and propaganda! Now in reference to GTA3 and Max Payne 1/2: GTA3 had a general story with missions that you could do at anytime but if you failed some or completed others it changed the gameplay and the story wasn't very deep. Max Payne's story was rather deep and you played it as though you were watching a movie hence the lack of mission choice. MP1/2: Pure Story - No Mission Choice -like a movie GTA3+: Shallow Story - Mission Choice C&C-TD-RA-TS-RA2-TW: Story and Mission Choice - Why break the chains? Why be like Generals? No Mission Choice and Non-indepth story, to me that just means multi-player/skirmish only.

New RA3 Details & Developer Interview

First of all - is this poorly written or what? I am a bit confused. If the campaign is linear - doesn't that mean there isn't any twists or catalyst missions? Stagnant run and gun gameplay that C&C has tried to not become? For this I wonder if they will do a similar method that Dawn Of War has done with capturing flags for res. I do like the idea of oil but ore IS red alert! Cat Fight Anyone? I'm gonna miss Boris - specially when I put him on a camel! So this means pointless CG (don't get me wrong I love bad ass graphics for cut scenes) with not story? WTH!? There better still be monkeys that throw crap at you and Camels that spit nuclear acid that destroys everything! Ahh well - I do like the commie propaganda idea - and I am excited to see how japan is going to be - who's side is Japan on? Pretty interesting if it was a third side but w/e Ohh and taking nukes out is like saying the cold war never exists - yeah nukes are overdone - overused - but damn it! they are so F-ing pretty!

    C&C 3 Music Video - Arduous Vindication

This may seem like an odd question - Why is honour better than the tribute? - I mean - I love nod and all - but I just don't think my Honour video is as great as my GDI Tribute video - but who am I to argue >> I'm just glad you all enjoy them! This one would have been better if I had more CGI to work with - however I may do something special for the brotherhood. <<

The Original Command & Conquer 3

Didn't anyone notice that the game was in a frozen state? that or at least the infantry didn't have any animations. The mammoths looked like they were frozen in action. So the hud to me looked like an overlay on a screen shot - specially that last video - with infantry in a firefight frozen and that fire not moving. That makes me wonder if they were going to have a 3d freeze frame - which would be kewl - and even a way to plan your tactics before they are carried out - like a really advanced waypoint. What would have been kewl is if you give units a time break before they do each action. They wait there then carry it out - that would be really kewl to use in the second to last nod mission having every sab cap all the structures at once. any way - - - That looks really pretty and all but a bit too distracting from the game play. But I do like the way they sized everything up.

Command & Conquer 3 Icon Set for Windows

Ooo! These are nice! I like the way the network was done on each - but what is filling the recycling bin for the scrin? Ahh well very nice indeed!

Command & Conquer 3 Nod Trailer

I thought it was nicely done! I mean - it gives some tactics and then just shows the might of the Nod army which can seem to be stealthy but weak. A bunch of recon bikes and stealth takes used offensively to take down a base is pretty nice. But yes- FMVs are always pretty to look at!
