    C&C 3 LAN networking problem

    Aye that would've worked too :wink: I uninstalled because once I'd only used it once in the past few months so figured it was a waste of time having on the pc and uninstalling it would be quicker than playing around with the settings.
  2. Here's the situation: I'm running into when trying to network over LAN. Both of our copies are legit and updated to version 1.8 The problem is every time I try to do a network game over the LAN, she can see me, but can't join my games... It says that the connection is timed out... I also can't see or join her games when she makes them.... thanks in advance for any help. EDIT: I managed to resolve this issue by uninstalling Hamachi (which was only on my pc) After it's removal we were able to network fine and play. I'll leave this here incase anyone else runs into the same problem

    Okay i installed the tib ed2 form the link you provided, however when I run it to mod C&C 3 the only race that;s appears is the scrin. Do i need to download addaional files form somewhere to be able to edit gdi and nod?

    Okay that makes sense, but what causedit to become invalid? I used a copy of the nodcrane.xml file from the sdk directory MOD SDKCnC3XmlNODStructures I even attempted to do a build using the default nod crane file without even modding it and still got the same Critical: XML validation error encountered in 'h:command & conquer 3mod sdkmodsplayabledatanodcrane.xml': Does this mean my copy of the SDK (version 2) is corrupt? or do I need to download "valid" copies off all the xml files from some other source? Or is it a special line needs to be entered in any modded files in order for them to be considered "valid?"

Hi I recently downloaded the SDK and wanted to test the functionality by creating a very simple mod, one that makes Nod cranes cost only 100 credits (not balanced I know but this was to test the functionality of the mod compliter before I set to work modding) Following all the instructions in the documentation I then tried to compile the mod and got the following errors Building Mod Data...
