It's still coverage in the *mainstream world* which is good I guess.

That guy really is fantastic!
-
Wow, that really is....different We have a tradition of putting it up on the first weekend of December, so in a few days i'll have a pic of my own On a slightly different note, does anybody still use *authentic* christmas trees?
-
Aaannnnnnnnd that's a wrap! Take it outside if you have to. Msn, skype whatever but not here. It's a pity we couldn't even have a decent debate
-
Yeah. Ah well, another day, another debate, we'll try again. Cheer up! *whistles*

:o Saracen that is aweseome! The other 'Achmed the Terrorist' ones are fantastic as well. Thanks for that

Extinguishers banned as a fire safety hazard
Duke replied to sith_wampa's topic in Off-Topic Discussion
That's more ridiculous than words can describe. Well actually the flipside of that is that people could save more lives by putting the fire out quickly when it's small before it gets a chance to spread. -
Ever tried reading the bible? Quote chapter and verse and I may reconsider ...But let's not even go down that path. This, is my point exactly!

Ever since the world's first thunder clap we've experienced music. Society's come and go bringing their own dynamic musical flavour that is constantly changing anyway to wherever they're going... So after swimming around in the melting-pot that is music for the past 20 odd years or however many more years we need to add to that for how long we've been alive (Saracen), what tickles your fancy? What do you like and not like? Let's talk about it and compare tastes, everyone's different and a person's musical preference represents a lot about them. In fact to stimulate conversation I propose...a list of your favourite top 10 bands of all time! Queen Muse U2 Relient K Foo Fighters Matchbox 20 The Beatles Skillet Yellowcard Nickleback

You know maybe they just couldn't decide on a name so it can be any of those...
-
I don't know why they even try. Maybe i'm going to sound really bad here but a definitive majority of people would agree that to make a baby it takes: A Man and a Woman. Anything else just doesn't seem right. Can anyone here honestly say that they would like to see Two Females be physically able to have children by themselves?
-
My bad, thanks for pointing that out lol.
-
I agree. For me Connery and Brosnan top the list but Craig isn't doing too badly so far. I havent seen Quantam of Solace yet though but when I do i'll be more qualified to judge! From what i've heard though, a lot of people arn't lovin it.
-
Have you heard the new album? I'm wondering if it's worth getting, I really enjoyed the last one.
-
(Old bearded man voice): "So how ya gonn'a do it?"
-
I find it surprising that the guy allowed his name to go public *just like that*.

I think the way you did it with not having too much on the screen was fine. Perhaps try standing next time though and smile a bit more. Have a few Red Bulls before you start !
-
Nice work. Do you film it yourself as well Sonic?

Look at Dave Grohl, he started off drumming for Nirvana, then went on to be the lead singer/songwriter/music guru of the Foo Fighters. The idea with guitar playing is that it hurts your fingers heaps, but they strengthen slowly, no pain = no gain. Like I can play chords on a steel string acoustic for hours on end without a break now - my fingers are just so damn hard...
-
Wow. That's rather huge. I find for doing whole site backups it's easier (if you have ssh access) to zip everything up and just download the zip file through putty. Saves the time ftp takes to process each individual file.
-
Yeah i'm loving it! To be honest I didn't do *that* much research into them but I thought the dell one's looked the best! This also has some pretty nifty tilt angles, why you'd use them I don't know but fun to play with

Okay so i've got this odd problem that's taken me a little while to realise. It may be something stupid i've missed but if someone could point me in the right direction or give me a pointer that'd be appreciated. I can't get a screensaver to go, no matter whatever I try it just won't run. Neither will the turn off monitor thing under power. I'd like to figure this out as i've just got a new monitor and tend to leave my pc on a lot - would rather not wreck it. Running XP Pro SP3
