Red Alert 3 Serial Number Issues (Updated)
G0NE2W4R replied to Saracen's topic in Command & Conquer News
Feel sorry for all those people who don't visit EA forums or C&C community forums because they have no clue what's going. They will demand money back Plus these serial number issues. All we can do is wait and see what EA can do. -

RA3 Unit Profiles: Guardian Tank & Wave-Force Artillery
G0NE2W4R replied to Sonic's topic in Command & Conquer News
I don't remember every using the Guardian's second ability. But the Wave-Force Artillery is my favorite tank in the game. The way it was designed makes it looks very powerful. And yea HM3 rocks! -
Favourite C&C Profile Icons Updated Again
G0NE2W4R replied to Sonic's topic in Site / Forum News & Discussion
Yea, I like the new ones. -
I use HyperCam 2. I'm using 1680 x 1050. But I guess the homepage header needs fixing. Even though it's not that noticeable and most people still use lower resolutions, unless of course you want your site to be perfect Oh and the forum headers are ok, I don't see any repeats.

New Zealand Release of Red Alert 3 Delayed
G0NE2W4R replied to Sonic's topic in Command & Conquer News
I was so busy today that I didn't have a change to go get the game. So I'm still not sure if they shipped the game here where I live. -
Dam, I really wanted the site to be up and running before RA3's release.
-
Red Alert 2 had 12 missions for Allied and Soviet, so it's 3 missions short. 9 missions might still be good to tell a cool story.

RA3 Unit Profiles: Soviet Hammer Tank & Dreadnought
G0NE2W4R replied to Sonic's topic in Command & Conquer News
The Hammer Tank's second ability is pretty cool. The Dreadnought's second ability is one of the many other second special abilities that overloads a unit to increase firepower, firing speed, etc. -
Congrats NCNZ! :cnc10:

It's going to be in Europe, because of the rating "+16"(It's the PEGI game rating system of Europe). In the U.S it would be considered "T" for Teen (ESRB rating). But I'm sure it will be available in some other places. And it's also possible there will be an Empire box art, you can predict how its going to look by going HERE. This is kind of the same thing they did with the Generals box arts of all three sides. I might buy only the Soviet one because I'm short on money

I'm guessing they will e-mail you through your EA account. And the download will probably be hosted by FilePlanet. I guess the same way you got the BETA.
-
I'm not 18+ lol.
-
When I first saw and built this unit in the BETA, I thought it could attack ground units because of its name, "MiG Fighter" reminds me of the RA1 MiG. But then I found out it was air only, and I felt it was a waste of credits.

I recommend that videos should be done with good video editing tools (that way we can fix our lighting problem). But we got to understand that a Websmaster and Video Editor are 2 completely different jobs. Sure Sonic can get professional software and tools, but he's a Webmaster. It's a bad idea to have one person do both (but yet Sonic is a trooper! He does good on both fields).Having one person dedicated to CNCNZ videos would be the best outcome I say.

Honestly, I have no problem with DRM. I don't think I will use up all those 5 authorizations. But the way the authorization process works will probably be confusing to first comers, like for people who are first coming into the PC world and computer gaming. They will have no idea of DRM or how it works. When they find out it's No-CD, they will probably install it on many computers thinking they can get more computers to have the game. Now these are the kind of people who are not big C&C fans or visit fan websites to read daily news, I guess you can call them "newbies". But what I'm trying to say is that the instruction booklet that comes with the game should briefly explain everything on DRM and how it works.

This isn't bad at all. But there is still some improvements; the major ones would be a better lighting and speak up a little bit, I can barely hear you (or maybe it's just me). I think the LiveWire would be better if it was actually planned, scripted, and rehearsed. I liked how the news was covered up and I don't blame you for being nervous, it's normal. Overall this LiveWire was pretty nice, I would give it a 8/10. And thanks for bringing LiveWire back.

EA is doing some crazy marketing. More and more people are recognizing RA3. The girl is hot btw

Shogun Executioner looks awesome, too bad it's campaign only. I'm sure Mods will make this a playable unit in multiplayer

Red Alert 3 Interview: The Soviet Faction
G0NE2W4R replied to Sonic's topic in Command & Conquer News
At 0:40-0:43 it looks like the Soviets are getting their ass wooped. I like those kind of missions.
