  1. As the topic states I'm trying to fix that annoying bug that the A.I. sometimes start building 20-30 refineries all in one place. I think that stopping the AI from building refineries for harvesters then selling them, presumably they do this to prevent resource extraction from cutting into weapon production time, will stop this error. I tried just removing the free harvester with the refinery but the A.I. apparently lacks the 'I' aspect of its name. So I need to change the A.S. (artificial stupidity) to build harvesters not just refineries. The only problem is that I can't make heads nor tails of the A.I. files (they're continuously referencing different sub directories of different A.I. behaviours for different occasions (whatever those occasions may be)).

    Unable to Edit Tiberian Sun

I think I found the solution. Any and all newly created weapons must be assigned to a unit otherwise they will disappear. Un-assigned original weapons are fine. Is this a glitch?

    Unable to Edit Tiberian Sun

I haven't been editing the art files. I have tried three different computers and four different Os's to no avail, in all cases I can only edit existing weapons. As far as I can tell all other editing works fine (vehicle, infantry, aircraft, general rules), but I can not create new weapons. Any new weapons disappear once the .tib file is reloaded. For example: If I were to create a copy of a rocket launcher "weap001" and increase the fire rate of the original weapon, the modified weapon would be saved however the newly created weapon would be lost upon a reload.

    Unable to Edit Tiberian Sun

I'm back with the same problem again (No it didn't go away I just got fed up of trying to fix it). I can now tell you that I get the same problem with Tibed v1.64 - v1.71. I also can not edit on my laptop (Vista x86). I am going to try both versions of tibed and perhaps some older ones on the Win XP x86 partition of this PC. If someone would be so kind as to list previous versions so that I can download them, please and thankyou. (Not the addresses just version numbers)

    RA1 & Tib Dawn on Win7

OMG why does that work? Thanks.
  6. Does anyone else have any problems with the first 2 C&C games on Windows 7? I keep getting inverted colours on all animated areas e.g. health bars are blue!

    Unable to Edit Tiberian Sun

No I'm not even getting to the stage of writing changes to the game. I can create units and alter most settings now but I cannot create a weapon and save it. Tibed will not save any weapon modifications. Tibed is writing to Tibsun perfectly now so I'm sure that it is purely a Tibed problem.

    Unable to Edit Tiberian Sun

Ok I have re-installed C&C, re-installed Tibed, and now run Win7 64-bit. Same problem. Everything was working fine then it stopped. Is there anyway it could be hardware related?
  9. Ok for starters I'm running Windows 7RC & using Tibed 1.7. I was fine up untill a couple of days ago but now most modifications I make to the game (Tib Sun), don't work. Anything else I create wont stay saved. For example last night I created (from scratch, no duplicates) a range of weapons for Veteran units after I saved, closed Tibed and re-opened my save on Tibed later it had all disapeared. Everything started going pear shaped after I sucessfully created a NOD Laser weapons upgrade and then tried making a GDI rail gun upgrade. I have re-installed Tibed but that made no difference. Would re-installing Tib Sun help? (It's going to be re-installed anyway because my full copy of Win7 has arrived).
  10. Simple question, is it possible to alter the percentage to which self healing units heal up to in Tiberian Sun? By default the game is set to heal units up to about ~51%. I would like to alter this to 100% like in the newer Tiberium Wars game.

Tib3 Kane's Wrath: Is it possible...

Are they planning to release an sdk? Or did they for go it for other games?

Tib3 Kane's Wrath: Is it possible...

So, getting back onto track. How would I go about getting rid of super Weapons & Epic Tanks?

Tib3 Kane's Wrath: Is it possible...

Was it only the Tiberium Wars that EA got the original Westwood team together to make?
  14. I know that there is no editor for Tiberium Wars Kane’s Wrath, but is it possible to edit the game in some way to deactivate Super Weapons and Epic Units? I really liked how in the older games you could alter the technology level in skirmishes so that it wasn't a rush to whoever could build the Epic Units & Super Weapons first. The Westwood staff worked hard to create lots of interesting balanced units. I for one would like to see a game through, the old fashioned way; with strategy, planning & skilled deployment. I would love to see the EA logo removed from the game and see it replaced by a Westwood one (a new logo). Not that I'm overlooking EA's financial importance to the game. On a side note will there ever be an editor made for this game?
