As I said how much of the backstory will make it into the game? It would be nice to see the Soviet philosophy of war touched upon.

I think some believe Sole Survivor is better than Generals. Must be the inability of doing a Construction Yard rush. There are a lot of great ideas that could be implemented with garrisoned buildings if EA could think of them or implement them. Having infantry placed on diffirent sides so they are effective and vulnerable from that direction only, being able to actually guide infantry in buildings, maybe have tanks knock out the ground floor and bring the whole building down.

Close, I was thinking along the same lines but thought maybe the beloved Rei Ayanami might find a twin in the game, piloting a giant mech. Heh, maybe they could use this as a continuation of the cloning technology. I take it you had in mind the building attack in referring to Nod as terrorists. Well yeah, especially in the first game that could be seen as both sides sharing the same story from a diffirent perspective, but perhaps one thing that people lose sight of is one side is good and the other is bad. I think Red Alert 2 saw the height of this, but given the amount of thought that has been put in the game so far what other aspects of the game might reflect this? Might we see war crimes committed by the Allies for example? Will we be seeing headlines of a scene that mirrors recent atrocities? Or might we hear someone drawl 'oh decisions decisions' about a morally ambiguious choice that has to be made?

Wow, I am most impressed with the level of thought going into the different units. If they can actually use some of the story in the game then it can easily surpass Generals.

I did forget about that, yes. Come to think of it there have been several distasteful parts of C&C, including a Nod attack on a village for propoganda, the Allies attacking civilians in Vladivostok and one GLA mission being a raid on a city. In terms of adding drama and tension this way and taking on a more quasi realistic edge I think fans would hate for the game to be remembered for something like the training missions being set in gulags and the controls are learned by killing prisoners. But given what else could have been targeted in the series and escaped unscathed, that would be unlikely. Enough seriousness though, any hints in the Japanese commando, perhaps?

Since we have a mixed martial artist for Natasha what suggestions might there be for Tanya? With bears? Okay, that may fit well with Soviet ingenuity, along the lines of their visa system. It certainly beats having movie heroes fight for you. But for a lot of people that was the appeal, that it was over the top. Zofia has a similar scene when you go after Yuri which is better done and more in line with what you are thinking, but YR was just...how can people complain about Generals with this? Just the same do we want to take it to Velvet Assassin's levels with smuggling cyanide pills to assist suicide and concentration camps? That would be a little too intense for some.

Sherry was the girl Claire saved in Resident Evil 2. Nemesis confirms Leon had her placed in government care, but Wesker took her according to Wesker's Report. Many believe this girl seen in the trailer is Sherry. The only other likely canidate is Alexia, the antagonist in Code: Veronica. Her story had been told however, and if the girl is meant to be from a previous game then it looks most like Rebecca, but story wise Sherry fits much better. One site reasons Wesker could use abandonment to have her attack his enemies, the Redfields, and the official word seems to be that Sherry will be in the game. Though it could be Ada. Turned into a BOW for betraying Wesker? But the look is all wrong, and why her and not Sherry?
