  1. Ok, questions for next Roundtable: 1. What do you guys think would the next C&C game play be like? 2. What can you guys say about the sad ending of BCPT? 3. Now that the BCPT has ended, who do you guys think could fill the shoes of C&C video shout casting? Fans or Forum Moderators or both? 4. Is MMORTS the future of C&C? If so, what form of MMO would C&C become - micro transaction, monthly payment or in game world advertisement?
  2. The final Battlecast Primetime has been released: http://www.commandandconquer.com/bcpt/final-battlecast-10 I'm all tears
  3. Hi, I could play the MP now. My PC is above their minimum requirement for sure, I upgraded it myself. I'm just lazy to list my PC specs down. Anyway, I need to wake up at 4am so I could play it until 1pm - when it just disconnects me afterwards. I think I could play longer as long as there are less people online. The time I played it says there are only 1500 people online and only 7 games found. During my first run of the game, there was 5000+ players online. Anyway, I'm lvl 20 NOD and working on GDI. I'll play the Campaign on hard once I've got both to lvl 20. Thanks for the replies.
  4. I could play the C&C:4 beta, but I can't seem to play online continuously now. I tried multi-player today and got a couple of games before the error re-appeared. Anyway, I'll just wait for a patch or something. Thanks for your reply.
  5. Hi guys, I need some help. After downloading and installing the game, I have the "unexpectedly disconnected from online services. Please check your internet connection" error. I have a decent broadband internet connection and could play this game during the beta. Although I also receives that error from the beta from time to time, I could still play it during off-peak times. Now, it seems I can't even play the campaign and the lobby chat says "Join Failed." I don't know whether their servers can't handle the bandwidth or they switched their servers to another third party provider. Strangely however, whenever I go to the multi-player lobby, it says there are 100 people online. Yet, I see no rooms, no game and the "Join Failed" message. Anyone have any idea for a fix? I tried going to the C&C forum but I can't see a C&C:4 help section. Apoc also put up a link, but whenever I click it, it says "Oooops, insufficient privilege" or something like that.
  6. Thanks for the copy of the game ^^ See you guys online
  7. If I win a copy of C&C:4, I would need someone to play with me in the campaign ^^
  8. I just watched this on the future channel: //Breaking News' dramatic music// Sexy Newscaster: "Good morning everyone, we have just received news from Idris Corporation that they will implement a population cap for each commander due to the shortage on food and supplies. To learn more, we have Moses live on the scene." //Camera to Moses, short pause and Moses touching his ear piece// Moses: "Can you hear me now?.. Thanks Jane. As you can see, I'm now inside the press release office of Idris Corporation, and we see tons of reporters from various channels already filling the room to the brim. Wow! I've never seen this much reporters and soldiers after they were all massacred by the Scrins... anyway, in the center of the room is the GDI Head commander as well as the President of Idris Corporation. Let's hear what they have to say.' //Camera focuses on Idris Corp's Press Release speaker// Yugly: "... due to the food and supply constraints, we are forced to enact a strict cap on the number of each commander's units. This would be effective as of... now." //Screaming sounds, shrieking and panic ensued...Camera focuses on the crowd...// One soldier: "What is happening? I'm turning gray... I can see some white stuff above me, that seems to be decreasing..." Another solider: "aaaaahhhhhh" //drops dead on the floor// //Camera to Moses// Moses: "OMG! We are now seeing soldiers dieing right and left inside the chamber! Turning grey and having some sort of white bar on their top, then suddenly dropping dead!" //Loud explosion outside, camera quickly turns to the glass window and focuses to the source of the sound. A burning Mastodon is outside. Hears about Moses crying...// Moses: "Not my ride! WTH is happening! I used my lifesavings and a loan to buy that new version of MKII" Stranger with deep voice: "Perfect. Here's another engineer. what's your name soldier?" //Camera back to Stranger and Moses. Zoom to stranger's badges on the left pocket// Moses: "..huhu.. hick... my name is Moses. And I'm not a soldier.." Stranger: "Yes, you are one now. Welcome to the Corps of engineers. Btw, sorry about your ride, but we have a new commander and he is spamming engineers. Due to the pop cap, we have to decommission your ride. By the way, your first assignment is to infiltrate and capture the enemy's factory." Moses: "Errr... Yes sir?!" //Camera follows Moses lousily as he wears his Engineering suit and heads off towards NOD's suspected base. Arriving at the enemy's base...// Moses: "There it is, their factory. Wow, it's bigger than I thought. Wonder why it's left here alone in the middle of nowhere? O well... //to camera man// Get ready to capture my heroic sacrifice as I capture this factory single handedly! Make sure to get my good side. This should be easy, I saw some engineers just walk towards the door and capture the enemy's base during the first and second tiberium war." //Camera focuses on Moses entering the crawler. Then hears the loud bang// Moses: "Ouch! My head. What the hell!" //Bangs his head repeatedly to the door of the crawler// //Incoming radio sound// Stranger: //beep beep// "Cancel the order, we forgot to tell you that you can't capture the enemy's base anymore." Moses: "What?! But you ordered me to capture it!" Stranger: "Yes, but apparently, you can't do it now." Moses: "Why?!" Stranger: "Because. That's why. Anyway, your new assignment is to harvest Tiberium." To Be Continued.... watch out for the Epic conclusion of this story...
  9. Game publisher should be more specific about their online requirement. There are different grades of internet connection and I think that C&C:4 was misrepresented when they said the players could play the game even when using dial-up. Seriously, dial-up? If my broadband connection can't work, I think taunting that dial-up connection will work is simply fraud. If anyone wants to know their internet connection grade, run this web utility several times and get the average: www.pingtest.net If you score below B, then this game is not for you. A is the recommended grade.
  10. Oww, didn't knew that, I'll erase one entry of mine then
