I'd say its average at best. I heard that there was vote rigging with duplicate accounts. A rule to disqualify votes made by newer accounts would have been a good counter to this. So I selected Average at best. The idea is quite good though.

I think they might announce it with a very small teaser trailer without even letting us know what universe the game is based on. Just to keep the community buzzing.

Awesome video. I think this is one of the best mods that are in dev. This would sort of partially fulfill my gens 2 wish which may or may not come true in the near future.

IMO This move is too early since Origin is no where near in terms of quality and user base to Steam. I had trouble downloading Crysis 2 last time. I had to download it 3 times to get it right. There are lot of problems like the inability to back up games. May be this has changed with the Origin relaunch, but last time I checked it was not. Also who can get past the awesome Steam sales .

Looks like they are developing a new engine as well. That is good news. I won't get my hopes up at least until I get a demo to play.

I also this is not about a CnC project. In to the interview JVC says that an announcement would be made later in the year. March is too soon for that for me.

C&C used to be a giant in the RTS genre. It was a genre definer. "There were worse games than C&C 4 " is not what we want when we play a C&C title. We want more, we expect something polished, something much more refined with a few new additions to an existing formula. If EA wanted to bitch around with a new game mechanic like this they should have created a whole new IP. This was some lazy ass attempt. I strongly believe that the core C&C 4 design was initially designed for an MMO and then later changed to a full sequel.

QFT. Another Sage game would totally suck IMO. That engine needs to be replaced . Why won't they ever learn.

The whole article is very interesting. Its at least good to know that someone within EA had the balls to try something new. It should have been released IMHO. This Camacho thing might be something like Battle Zone interms of game mechanics.

I disagree on the Console Exclusiveness of the XBOX. PS3 has some great exclusives like Uncharted, Killzone, Gran Turismo, Little Big Planet, MGS and the list goes on. Out of these Uncharted is one of the best games I've played. I have been a heavy PC gamer until about 3 months ago, but most of the PS exclusives are really good.

That would mean we have to assume that everyone that does not vote among the member base does not play classics .

This is the best mod for ZH. Can't wait for its release

I voted for Generals although it would be good if you have another option as "I don't play any classics".

Congratz CnC NZ ... I am not a regular here at the forums, but I check the site daily and its been a great source of CnC news for me.

I think problem with previous C&C titles was not because of the DEV team's. Its due to the short sightedness of the management. If the EA management learned their lessons properly this time, then I think we can at least have a hope of an acceptable C&C title. If not we can again get drowned in the sea of utter disappointment and frustration.

I think this will not be an RTS. Mostly an FPS or 3PS. Joe Kucan also confirmed this on his FB page so I believe its based on the Tib universe.

I think the first one is much easier if you capture the nod war fac @ the beginning. My life got much easier after that. You can spam tick tanks after that.

Should try that out. I could defend myself. But attacking was a nightmare. Disk throwers should be able to clear garrisons.

Played about 30mins before coming to work today. I got my ass kicked every time i tried to attack :S. Those pesky GDI rocket soldiers are really getting on my nerves.
