    The Awakened

That's sad news. But at least you have Photoshop! Btw, incidentally, what version do you use? I really think you could work magic on your artwork if you refine it further in PS. >

Maybe that is their coffee. 3D modeling. (WTF!?)

I remember majority of the drunken stupor threads being inhabited by you barbarians. LOL. >
  4. First of all, you're in a significant handicap already (2v1) even if it's just AI. They also have advantage in the build order (usually new RTS AIs have optimal build orders programmed in them). The best thing to do, probably, is try to find a way to observe how an AI playing as the Empire of the Rising Sun would deal with the same situation. Try to find which build order it uses becomes the most effective against the AI. Then again, it would be better if you consulted either a strategy guide, or played more with human players. However, with the Empire's units being significantly softer (at least the lower-tiered ones) than most, you will have to play as if you were either a Zerg or a Dark Templar Protoss Rusher in Starcraft. You'll need to maximize unit abilities (mainly, your navy and the amphibious abilities of ground units), as well as numerical superiority (you'll need it if you want to face the enemy head on). You'll also have to beat them to the punch; hit them hard first, and focus on damaging their production and economy. Normally, one on one, those tactics would be pretty easy to use; however, you have two enemies, so you'll need to micro-manage in order to win. You have to double your unit, resource and building production rates (a 2:1 ratio compared to either enemy will do good) so that you can fight a sustained battle with them. And take note of their starting locations; it would help greatly in early game harassment. And try tweaking the odds a bit. Add a bit of handicap to them, disable superweapons, etc.; don't push yourself too hard immediately. You should first know which tactic will work best against them. Once you learn that tactic, practice and practice until you can use it to beat the AI, with no handicap to them and superweapons enabled. Hope that helps. >

    Now Playing - Games

Nah, I have no interest in newer Star Wars games. I'm playing for the D&D-esque gameplay. > And btw, I've moved on. Currently plaing Halo: Reach for the nth time. >

Playing good ol' Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II. Still an excellent game, IMO.

    Sooooo....

Hahahaha! Maybe the nuke or M60 avatar's would be more familiar. I did a killing with those gun avatars. And there was that lengthy debate about whether or not the Apoc and Overlord tanks belonged to the Mammoth family. LOL.

    Sooooo....

Thanks for the idea Theirry. Gonna dig up my old M60 avatar. Or at least my monitor-licking one. > -EDIT Oh yeah. It's back baby. Would have used that old account were it not for me forgetting about it. The name's Azrael, btw, if you wanted to see it. And if you wanted to read my childish, neurotic and adolescent C&C fanboy bull**** posts from the past. >

I remember this guy. Long time veteran. Too bad he doesn't remember me with my old account. LOL. Welcome back, by the way. >

    Apocalypse Party!

Looking through the pics... I still love the good old RA1/TD Mammie. Although the ones from TW and TT are also pretty good for me. And I still love the MKII from TS. Anything else... Claptrap, in my opinion. >

    The Awakened

You mean art theft. > But in all seriousness, pretty good work. Makes me feel bad since I can't draw **** to save my life. LOL.

    Apocalypse Party!

The good old argument whether or not the Overlord belongs to the Mammoth family of tanks. I did love the Emperor Overlord though. But I never though that these belonged to the Mammoth family of tanks. It lacked what made the Mammoth family, well, just that: Mammoth. It lacked the rockets (regardless of what targets it could hit), and it certainly lacked the bad ass looks. I agree with Nmenth calling it a chop-shop product of a tank.

    Apocalypse Party!

Ah. Hehehe. Do forgive my lack of knowledge on that matter. >

    Apocalypse Party!

Ahahaha, yes. I do agree that the balance in RA1 was indeed terrible. Infantry don't do **** against a good Soviet rush, and all the Allies had were good troops supported by Medics which would last... Maybe a few seconds before getting crushed by Heavy tank treads. And I think the RA1 model for the Mammoth tank is almost completely aesthetically the same as the TD Mammoth tank. But I love it anyway. >

    Apocalypse Party!

@Luk3us, agreed! It's like an RA1 Mammie, only... Thinner chassis and longer cannons. Which makes it less of a kicker aesthetically. Plus the rockets can't hit infantry. But I disagree with the Light Tank swarm. It's just not my kind of offensive. But the old RA1 Heavies were always the best non-uber tank in my opinion. And probably the only dual-barreled one at that, too. Rhino tanks in RA2 don't do **** in comparison to RA1 Heavy tanks. >

    Countdown!

Seriously. I can't believe that crap about 2012. But well, in all probability, as a saying goes... "On the brink, mankind will find a way." Provided that we know it's the brink and we have enough time to make that way true.

    Countdown!

I'm gonna kick off a countdown thing here in CNCNZ, since nobody else seems to be doing it. So it's raining hard here in my place. It's just about 4 hours, 18 minutes to go before new year's eve. We just had a nice dinner (although we have more in stock for the Noche Buena, a Filipino tradition, later). No noise so far, and no fireworks for sure (it's banned in our city, damn).

    Countdown!

If the world's going to Hell anyway, fine with me. I played my share of C&C and Halo for this life already. LOL. If not, then that's good news. I can play more C&C and Halo. >
  23. Well, yes. Facts that are aggregate opinions. > @D14180, I remember reading about it in a dev blog posted in the C&C site (during C&C3's development) and in a dev podcast (same time). I remember saving the podcast; I'll try to dig it up then post it later. Well, not all units were throwbacks to TD, but the Mammoth Tank and Flame Tank are good examples of that throwback. Although in my personal opinion, the TS Mammie was just the best. The Flame Tank, well, I hated the shoebox of death design, but neither did it mean I hated it's burrowing ability; I remember being happy about the redesign in C&C3, but frustrated with the lack of flexibility in it's usage.
  24. Ah, it's really just personal preference. In my opinion, TS was much more futuristic than C&C3; the main reason for the unit designs in TW were mostly focused on a throwback to the old unit designs in TD. Both are fun for me, and I won't rate one better than the other. But it's all relative; there's no such thing such as a right or wrong opinion.

    Video of the day

Now these are testaments to why Halo is so ****ing awesome. Ground vehicle > Jet Pack A case of inattentiveness... I like the music on this one... Beware: Falling Objects Epic betrayal! We don't want team Jacob, or team Edward... We want team ARMOR LOCK! His balls were taken, alright... The great escape! Apparently, even Hunters can perform assassinations... > He's both quick and dead at the same time. Another WTF moment. This is another reason why Forge is ****ing awesome.
