I for one look forward to the whiny bitch option. Full customization is key to my retro enjoyment.

Any Plans for Red Alert 3 support, and if not, what would you recommend?

Almost all Counterstrike and some Aftermath missions got video briefings and endings. -
TFD 1.04 Dev Update (12/05/2012)
Prisoner416 replied to nathancnc's topic in The First Decade Patch 1.04
Considering that you added other lost missions and videos with the current patch, I think it would be great to add the Lost Files videos as well, so it's all in one spot. I would be willing to host the file if that's really an issue. -
Issues with various non-unicode settings
Prisoner416 replied to Prisoner416's topic in TibEd Technical Support
One last quick question that has bugged me for years... How do I edit the toxin soldiers in the capture Jake McNeil mission? I don't see any values for them or their weapon. -
I'm sure you already know this, but I figured I'd report it anyway. TibEd does not like for non-unicode settings to be anything but English, as far as I can tell. I have a lot of imports, so my non-unicode is set to Japanese. This has the following effects. 1. Crash upon trying to enter preferences before starting. 2. Many, many errors while starting up for TD, all values when started are garbage. 3. Red Alert seemed fine. However, refusal to load any saved projects. If you could add support, that would be great. Not a priority, as this is not a case likely to come up often. Switching to English unicode fixes it, but requires rebooting to switch to it, then again to switch back.

Would it reasonable to request an option on future installers to add that, or any other music? Some people enjoy the original music, some enjoy mixing original and remakes, and some like totally new content. I'm not trying to be a pain about it, it just would be the best for customization in my opinion. I'm thinking maybe even a stand-alone tools with checkmarks, to toggle what is installed.

TFD 1.04 Dev Update (12/05/2012)
Prisoner416 replied to nathancnc's topic in The First Decade Patch 1.04
Lol, Nyerguds, I was looking for the specific video I was referring to, only to discover that I really was closer to discovering your patch and this site then I knew a year ago. Coolgamer1677 is me. The comment- Simply put, this is the best Tanya ever. A believable role as a civilian taking the fight into her own hands. Pretty, but not distractingly so or "bimbo" about it. The BEST SCENE EVER in the series when she's tied to that chair, having the injection needle dragged along her face. The spy rushes in, tosses her the gun as he dies, and she slams the Russian down and pins her with her chair and shoots him pint-blank multiple times, hands still tied to the chair and behind her back. That is TANYA. -
I'm complaining about it because it totally killed the mood of having totally slaughtered all GDI forces. There's a difference between enhancing and patching the game, and adding totally new content.

Oh my... um, I just beat the final NOD mission, and my ears were literally assaulted by some remix of "Do it up" that I'm SURE isn't official. *twitch* Why was this done? Are there any other "surprises" I should know about, and is there a way to fix this?

TFD 1.04 Dev Update (12/05/2012)

That's what I needed to know, I didn't want to screw anything up or install more then I had to. -
TFD 1.04 Dev Update (12/05/2012)
Prisoner416 replied to nathancnc's topic in The First Decade Patch 1.04
No, I mean I know it adds the introductions and such with the General from Red Alert 2, but I wasn't sure which missions, if any got the other extra videos, like the one with Tanya leaping out of a window. -
I read that as "mslolicon" at first and went WHOA NOT CLICKING THAT.

Nyerguds, you are awesome and you should feel awesome. I've never played any of the PlayStation or N64 missions, so those are just icing on the cake. How did you extract/program those?

TFD 1.04 Dev Update (12/05/2012)
Prisoner416 replied to nathancnc's topic in The First Decade Patch 1.04
Sorry, thought I was posting in the other board. I read through the change log before and must have missed the section. One quick question, does this include all of the files from the Red Alert Lost Files pack, or just the Ant Lion ones? -
Anyone own Sole Survivor?
Prisoner416 replied to Prisoner416's topic in Command & Conquer / Covert Operations
If you can. I can host the Red Alert One and Two if you want. The limited edition Tiberian Sun OST is the only other one I'm missing. Feel free to spread the link for the C&C flac around, I only use depositfiles because I'm unemployed and you get about $5 for 1,000 downloads. Not much, but every bit helps ATM. -

I have those that you wanted. I might as well upload the full thing, I have the original C&C soundtrack. I'll have to look into the other soundtracks. Most of mine are from pure audio CD's, I've got Red Alert, Red Alert 2, had Tiberian Sun but someone "borrowed" it. -
TFD 1.04 Dev Update (12/05/2012)
Prisoner416 replied to nathancnc's topic in The First Decade Patch 1.04
There should be an install option to keep the original C&C music in place, as opposed to the vocal added versions that (mostly) sound like crap in comparison. I don't mind extra bonus tracks, but when songs like "Act on Instinct" are mangled, there's a problem. -
Most favorite C&C unit
