Oh, I was just making an excuse for him . Good for him though. I'm not "anti-Metallica", if they're song is good, I'll say so. This new song, it sounds like they're trying to go back to how they were in the 80's. That would be great, if James was 20 years younger. The beginning of the song was great. The instrumentals are amazing, and probably some of the best since Am I Evil. James just doesn't have his flair anymore. Rob and Kirk are still amazing. Even Lars looks beat now. Check out this shot of him: That's a lie, IMO. But you really can't group them together. I did so to illustrate that they both popularized the guitar solo. Each did so beautifully.

Sony is just pissed because they got owned. Also, people were making little Geocities sites and got in as media. It was bullcrap. Now it'll be held in a Ramada Inn with a PowerPoint. Doesn't quite have the bang.

That song actually has one of the best guitar solos since Am I Evil. But this song was a great change from St. Anger's style. Not a single guitar solo in that entire album. Metallica, along with GnR made the guitar solo cool again. And they just aren't doing it now. If the rest of Metallica's new songs are like this, and James sounds decent, I'll consider actually buying the new album instead of getting it online. I understand they went through a lot of crap to record St. Anger, and it shows. Maybe one or two good songs on that whole album :? James strains through that entire song. He's trying to sing that signature 'growl', and it came naturally to him in the 80's. Now it seems like he's struggling to get it. Can't wait for the studio-recorded version of that song when James is sobered up and sounds decent.

That song was great until James opened his mouth. I watch them , and the opening line sounds like Hulk Hogan singing karaoke :?

I use FireFox for extensions. Opera/IE don't have them. Do I really care if "Firefox and Mozilla are Not for Profit" of it "Firefox has lower System Requirements than Internet Explorer"? The answer: No. It satisfies my needs, and I didn't start using it because of some system requirements claim or a speed test.
