I think there should be a Finalalert2: Yuri's Revenge category, just like TibEd does. Not everyone has and/or uses TibEd.

its not RA2 or YR, there is only like 5 ini files. and one rules file. so its not that. im not familiar enough with the other editing utilities. or games.

everyone just get the freakin YR version and you can edit and make maps for both YR and RA2. Check out the link Sonic gave and I explain it a bit more.

you could have also gone under tools in you tool bar thingy up top and at the bottom gone to internet options... and changed the security level tonot accepting cookies. that always works EDIT: maybe i should have read Sonic's post. He already suggested this. oh well.

Not true. I use FA2:YR for YR maps and RA2 maps, and it works. You just have to make sure that you go under "File" and "Check Map" and it will tell you if you can use it as a RA2 or YR map. You can save maps as .mpr, .yrm, or .mmx. the .mpr extension is for RA2 maps. For some reason you cannot play a map in YR that has the .mpr extension. .yrm is for Yuri's Revenge maps. and the .mmx is for both. But the .mmx extension has some weird properties. I don't use it much. You have to go through an extra step and I don't think you should have to.

in my opinion, all of the FF remakes and games above FF6 are crap. just crap. They storyline sucks, the characters look like they were just thrown onto screen. or out of some cartoon. the last decent one was FF5. and even that wasn't that great. They could be old Japanise people. :lol: ... maybe

well you got a point there. But the fact is that people still play and make maps for RA2. I'd actually never heard of TibEd until I came here, but everyone knows about FA2. I know I still make maps for it. Just think of it as expanding your horizons.
