Adding a new faction

Hi all. I need some help with adding a new faction. I have all the units set up and buildings. However, what I need to know is what I need to do in order to make it work.

1. If I select the new faction in skirmish and press start game it will crash. Is this because I don't have a loadscreen for that faction?

2. I have no idea how to choose what units that team should spawn with. Some information on this would be nice as well. Maybe that's why it crashes perhaps?

If you're not using the Rock Patch or NPatch and Yuri's Revenge 1.001, this can't be done.

Oh, so I have to add this faction to Yuri's Revenge then. Good to know.

Yes, there are no patches for Red Alert 2.

 

However, you can get around the problem if you make the players able to build your new faction's MCV. You can't start as the faction but you can get their stuff.
