Hi, i have the high ping bug as well... what can i do?

same as the guy a few topics below me.

everyone have 1000 pings all of the sudden and i cant play.

my internet connection is great, everything's fast but my RA2 ping...

any new ideas guys?

as I said in other forum this is due to the msblast virus now isps block icmp ping requests which C&C uses this makes it impossible to get an accurate ping from u with their current system its on EAs website so they know about it but are to idiotic to do anything about it typical EA support

Its because you have a firewall. Nothing you can do. Not a bug.

its not neccesarily because of a firewall it can be because of icmp ping requests I dont use a firewall when I play. And yes there is nothing you can do about it because your isp is the only one with control over whether they accept or deny icmp ping requests from reaching your computer.
