How to get online?

I do want to know how to get online with Red Alert 3. I made an account on EA.com and when I wanted to log in, my computer said that he has no connection with the internet. How come when my internet connection is good.

 

Please can someone help me?

Check the basics, like the ports are open on your router, check your firewall is not blocking RA3 from accessing the internet. Make sure you have downloaded the latest patch.

How do I have to open my router, because i'm a big noob in such those things.
