Waypoints

Recommended Posts

Hi all, Right the latest problem i am having with this map is the AI seems to always get stuck. Each base is directly opisite each other but the only way to get to each other is to take a detour on to the other island. But the computer doesnt do this just all the units build up on the cliff all facing the other base.

I have tried putting waypoints down in a circul around the map, but still the units dont want to follow it.

Anyone got any ideas?

Other problem im having is the AI keep trying to destroy the indistructable buildings in my map e.g Oil derriks and oberservation posts. And cuase they dont stop attacking the indistrubtable buildings they never seem to attack the enemy.

The AI seems to be working fine other then that as if i enter there base they do defend. And they also build up everything including speaical weapons.

Hope somone can help me

Thanks

Marc

Lol, sorry, my point is that I think your version is buggzord. Is it legit? To my understanding, I believe that the RA3 version of the WB doesn't need things like waypoints for the AI...

I suggest carefully checking the area where they stop, I've done that before where i ended up putting two separate waypoints in the same spot making a break in the chain.

As for AI not attacking the buildings, I will have to look into that once I get the Worldbuilder if i had the patience i could do almost anything with that poorly built program. The RA3 Worldbuilder works the same as the C&C3 one, i never tried making AI not attack an enemy before, so i will experiment and let you know.
