veloh 0 Posted January 13, 2009 Hi, so to the point, I'm trying to make skirmish and multiplayer maps for C&C Kane's Wrath, starting with just a very simple map and trying to test it on the game engine it self. However, I'm using the worldbuilder that came on the Kane's Wrath CD, my game is patched to the latest update and I did everything as the manual and the readme file described! I can see my simple test map in the custom maps menu in the game but I can't get it to show up on the skirmish or the multiplayer menus.. anything I did wrong?? Thx. PS: the map I saved to is in the folder like u all say its suppose to be so that's not the problem, there are few menus I think to save em from the worldbuilder, the user maps menu, the libraries, and the base.. BlyTwo 0 Posted January 17, 2009 (edited) It is hard to conjure a solution without an adequate diagnosis... "I did everything as I should" doesn't help mush, because obviously there is something not being done right. This is probably on of the most basic questions, what OS are you using? Is is it in the proper location for your OS? (ex. >>>AppData/Roaming/Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars/maps) Does the map have any sort of unique things done to it? If it is a problem with the map, perhaps you could attach it and I could take a look at it. Your personally made maps for skirmish/online play show up in the normal maps list.
