How do I upload user maps to CnC ZH?? Worldbuilder ? too.

Everytime I download maps, they don't appear in the drop down menu of the maps section of the game. Does someone know what I need to do for them to show up?

 

Also, when I use Worldbuilder, I can't find existing maps that are default maps for the game. I'm looking under *.map, but only a couple show up on the whole system!! Where are they?!?!?!?!

To play downloaded maps you need to put them in:

C:My DocumentsCommand & Conquer GeneralsMapsMAP NAME

or

C:My DocumentsCommand & Conquer Generals Zero HourMapsMAP NAME

 

Official Maps don't show up on the World builder load screen - there's something funny about them.

You can't open the official maps because they are stored inside the .BIG files the Generals and Zero Hour use.

You can use the BigPOP C&C Generals Data Editor to extract them though. Download that from http://www.cncnz.com/files/generals/utils.shtml#bigpop

I must be doing something wrong then I guess because the downloaded files with the .map extension are in my MY DOCUMENTS....ZERO HOUR DATA folder and they still don't show up when I play Zero Hour. What gives?? :bang:

Inside the Zero Hour Data directory there's a "Map" directory, inside the "Map" directory you need to create another directory with the same name as the map.
