graphics/directX problem for ZH

Hi I used to play Generals ZH on my old graphics card and it (sort of) worked at a reasonable speed, then i got a new graphics card, and now every time i try to start ZH up it says i don't have the required graphics card or directX version, any help would be appreciated

Make sure you have the correct and most recent version of the display drivers for your video card installed.

 

What was your old video card and what is your new one?

my old 1 came with my pc and i dnt remember what it was called, but my new one is a Sapphire Radeon HD 3650, I also forgot to mention that C&C Generals works fine but ZH doesnt.

Also i didn't mention that I have CoD4 on this computer and that runs without a problem, with graphics more superior to ZH

Its better if you could list out the specs of your hardware and along with the list of your directx and graphic drivers installed.

 

I believed that its most probably the drivers issues and you should uninstall all old graphic card drivers and try reinstall all updated graphic card drivers and the direct x.

Nope, I got the latest drivers, installed directX 9 and it still gives me the error

There are many possible explanations for such errors. Can you try to list down the specifications of your system, as precise as possible?
