Quick Status Update from APOC

Recommended Posts

With the depressing news we have had in the past 48 hours and as reality begins to sink in about the big changes at EALA that are coming next year. Community manager APOC, posted this quick status update on the Official C&C Forums. In short, development of Command & Conquer 4 will continue and has not been affected.

Hey guys,

EALA is dedicated and passionate about C&C 4. We want to assure you that the game is on track for a great launch next year. We’re nearing the Beta, and we hope many of you will participate. Once you have the game in your hands and give it a good test drive, you’ll be able to provide constructive feedback that will help the dev team continue to finesse the game. We’re eager to hear your thoughts.

See you on the battlefield,

APOC

we know that cnc4 development will be continued but this doesnt mean we will have better post dev support from the "new support team" that was promised during red alert 3.

also even if they say there are passionate how in the world is possible one person that knows that he is going to loose his job no matter what he does

next year to perform 100%?, this "dark" thought will affect the moral spirit of the team sooner or later. and i totally understand them.

i really dont give a damn about the game when people are about to loose their jobs. people comes first to me not a game. games can be postponed and be completed and later on, there is no big deal.

the big deal is that the team should be united, focused, not having an "expire" date and the studio to have the money need it to develop a good game.

the only think we can do to help the team is to buy that game and hoping that the sales will be hight enough probably to rethink their stupid decision of firing them. :(

Hmm...so no further news really on the piece on everyone's minds?

My main question fo his above statement is: Will this affect post game support, and how?
