What's the deal with the way messages are displayed?

Why are the messages in a box below the original post and I have to click on them to read them? I like just being able to see all the messages...Is this a change to the forum, or did I just screw something up?

Nothing has been changed on the forums. Your personal display settings for viewing/reading threads has been changed.

 

To change it back. While reading a thread (like this one) click on the Options drop down menu at the top right of the original post (next to the Rating menu), under Display Modes click on Standard. The display mode that is in italic text is what your currently set on.

Thanks, Sonic. I figured I'd just screwed something up. I don't know how it happened, though. I never even looked at those options. Oh well.
