Gben 20 Posted January 12, 2010 Did you see the news in Jan 12th email from XFIRE:- Xfire In-Game now supports iTunes and Windows Media Player. Although still in beta, we've recently added the ability to control your favorite playlists. To use the feature: 1. Open iTunes or Windows Media Player- Have it running in the background. 2. Select Playlist to control in-game- Songs play in the order they're sorted on the playlist. 3. Press Scroll Lock + M to try it out So get started on those gaming playlists! For suggestions, tips, and troubleshooting, head to the Music Player Beta Forum. ^This seems like a GREAT idea. The Xfire Game Store allows you find great deals on the latest and most popular PC games. Here are a few of our cataglog's hottest titles this New Year: To download these and other titles, check out the Xfire Game Store and stay up to date on all the latest releases by joining the Official Xfire Game Store Community. Samples: Red Alert 3 USD$29.95 Command & Conquer : Red Alert 3 - Uprising USD$19.95 ^This seems like a logical expansion of services, but can it ever seriously compete with the other established outlets. Or is it just building some passive income to support it's other strategies. I like xfire, I bought buy something from them *if* it was competively priced, to support them. Luk3us 63 Posted January 12, 2010 The playlist function could be good. I doubt I'd buy anything from them though, I don't like buying from international vendors. Share this post Link to post
