EA Looking to Hire New C&C Community Manager

Well, like I said, if you're an EA fanboy OR a Westwood fanboy, then don't even think of applying as a CM!

 

Look it's not up for vote, or for any one of us to decide. Your whole attitude is embarrassing!

 

I'm sure the CM they hire will have respect for those who like the ideals of Westwood just as well as those who prefer the ways of EA.

But when dumbnuts turn op with nothing but useless barble barble all the time about how everything is wrong and evil, I fully understand why people get irritated and tend to ignore.

I expect that 1st paragraph will be a typical reply to a WW fan like myself, isn't it? Yeah, childish as I know you'll think, but I'll be back to normal only when there's a good game and at least SC2 keeps me company. And I know people will hate me if I were at any C&C convention in person since they see me I'm only ruining the fun.

 

But hey, you got a point that we can't vote, but some of us do want to apply for that position as said in the earlier posts in this thread. Don't blame me, some of us do want to take that job, like a student turned teacher in the same school.

Hmm, if they are looking for a new CM that would seem to indicate that they have a timetable ready for press releases on the next C&C game. It's still in 'early development' but in the meantime before they are ready to start making announcements they probably want to get a new CM up to speed (on the project and also the community, including outreach to sites) so he or she will be ready to hit the ground running when the time comes for press and announcements (instead of playing catch up).
