@hotmail.com and @yahoo.com Mail Account Problems

Attention everyone using either a @hotmail.com and @yahoo.com to receive e-mail notifictions from our forums.

 

For some reason our forums on the new Gaming Source servers can not send e-mail to anyone using an @hotmail.com or @yahoo.com address. This also includes addresses with a country suffix such as @yahoo.co.uk.

 

If your using either @hotmail.com and @yahoo.com I ask that you either do one of following things.

 

1) Change your e-mail address that your registered with to one that is not with a free provider. You can hide your address on our forums so no one can see it.

 

2) Do not use any of the notifiction functions from the forums such as topic reply notifiction or private message notifiction. Topic reply notifiction can be turned off when you post a message by clearing the option on the Post a new topic page. You can turn off private message notifiction by clearing the check box in your Profile page.

 

I'm sorry about this but since I control the [email protected] address I get all the bounce back e-mails. I will try to find more information from our hosts about this. For now please take a few minutes to make the carry out 1 of the 2 options aboves.
